Default I'm worried about what exactly it is I am losing... (and other questions)
Hey guys,

So tomorrow I will be on day fifteen of round 1 phase 2. And it is actually going great, no complaints, no cheats, no hunger (cravings off course! ) but just general good progress.
Weight wise has been going okay (although I'm starting not to trust my digital scale and most likely might need to get a new one) I have lost 6.3kgs so far.

My question is though, where exactly I might be losing and what?

Unfortunately I didn't get around to taking actual measurements, (still kicking myself about it too)
And I really really psyched myself out about HCG drops I'm taking because I was reading about it on some posts here and people saying it's all fake. I'm using HCG1234. The thing is, someone I know recommended it to me, and she has had a really good loss on it and lost inches and all, and P3 was stable for her, so I thought I would use it.
I should have checked properly, but she has said that she's done so well on it.

Anyway. I can't even tell if my clothes fit looser or not, are they even meant to? I was trying on a few things and it just feels the same.
I'm feeling pretty low at the moment and made myself a cup of tea and didn't measure my milk amounts, it's like I didn't even care.
No worries though, I only had a few sips before I had to throw it in the sink cause I just couldn't stomach it.

Have I put myself in starvation mode? is my metabolism not even going to reset itself? I know this might be personal, but when did you guys start to notice the differences in your bodies? when did those clothes feel looser?

I'm sorry to be such a worry wart and freaking out. I don't want to feel like I've actually just wasted my whole time on P2 I guess that doesn't help too.

Anyway, any responses will be greatly appreciated. Thanks folks. Sorry for the rant and the multitude of questions!

First, realize that every body is different. Some people are going to notice the difference earlier than others. Alot of people start reshaping in P3, but I have always seen alot of results in P2. Before I started HCG, I lost quite a bit of weight with diet and excercise, and I was able to lose about 70 lbs before people started noticed AND before I had to buy new clothes. Don't be discouraged, just look at the positive things!

As far as frustration with the HCG, evaluate if this is a constant frustration, or if it just a small frustration every now and then. If you are constantly frustrated with the process and your expectations not being met immediately, then you may not ready mentally to handle it right now. I know my husband did one round, with alot of success, but he just couldn't hack it on his second round, and had to quit. It wasn't worth the mental agony that he was experiencing.....

It sounds to me like you are doing great though, and best of luck!

Heya Bakedruffles, thank you for replying to my post and definitely easing my worries. I guess I wasn't my most rational self last night. I have a feeling TOM is going to be showing up soon enough and I guess every worry is just compounded unnecessarily.
I can't need to calm down and eat cake.
Wait no, definitely not cake. Haha.
I guess I shouldn't worry too much about it and just let things be, I def won't stray the course. I might have worries about my hcg formula but I won't let it stress me out, I have come to far now and I want to finish my round.
I'm so glad for this forum, it's nice to be able to vent in a safe environment.

Cheers Bakedruffles. Appreciate the response.

I think you are loosing great. 6.3 kgs is a lot of weight to have lost. It will take time before you see visible differences. I would take a next smaller size item you have(that you love) and keep it on a hanger in your closet where you see it daily. I use it to motivate myself. I also forgot to do measurements. I also keep thinking that even when I am not seeing visible changes, the hcg is still doing it's job of removing abnormal fat which is not an easy task since I did not gain weight overnight. I hope this helps. Keep visualizing yourself as a thin stick and also keep pictures of your fav actresses's photos around.
PS: don't skimp on protein. Sometimes I go a little extra than less as our own muscle will break down if we don't take enough of protein.

Thanks so much Happythin. Like your nickname by the way :-) I definitely a lot more saner now then I did yesterday. I have a pair of jeans that had been getting looser and looser and I thought bonus! maybe a smaller size of those jeans will fit.
I got it on me, but it just didn't work out and I just lost it. The only reason the jeans would have been getting looser was because they fit just right anyway to begin with, and the material just stretches after awhile of wear.

I'll definitely take your advice though, it's a great idea. Thanks again

My friend, I think you are being harsh on yourself with your thinking. I vote for personal kindness. Afterall, you deserve it. Be kind to your self and pay attention to your feelings. when the feelings are tough, think that it is time to change your thoughts. I do this constantly. I think the world is tough enough on us. No point in adding more stress to our lives.. with our thoughts.
thanks for your complement about my name. we are all in this together to help each other out. It certainly adds 'meaning' to our journey.

You are absolutely right Happythin. I'm so thankful to have this forum available to vent my worries and frustrations. It's a safe fantastic outlet, better then the junk I might have been likely to have. And the fact that people are so patient and willing to reply to yet another post quite possibly already mentioned in another is great too.
People ask the same questions but in a different way and no one is ratted out saying go find the answer in the forum, you don't need to ask again. I really appreciate that. I reckon we already have enough stress on our head to worry about repeating what someone else might have said. :-)

On another note, gosh I'm full had a big bowl of watery chilly with mince and diced tomato. So yummy that I almost think I overdid it! haha. I can't wait to have miracle noodles with it when I get to p3. Spaghetti time!

It's never too late to take your measurements. Just note the day within the phase you first took them so you'll have a benchmark that you lost inches/centimeters from R1 P2 VLCDx onward. This might be a nice record for you if you reshape a lot in P3. And by the way, I think you're doing great so far!

Like everyone said, every body type is different and everyone will lose from different areas at different paces. How much did you have to lose to begin with? If you had 80+ lbs to lose you will not notice it as quickly as someone who has 30-40lbs to lose.

Regarding your type of hcg. I am not a pro at those drops by any means but from what I have read all over these boards it seems that if you bought those drops a year or more ago they were the real drops and they contained real hcg. They recently took the hcg out of their product so it no longer contains hcg. If that is the case for you and you just purchased them I would suggest buying a differnt kind for better results. You are doing great so far but if you want real drops I don't think those are it.

Good luck to you!

Thank you Katt and SimplyJ for your responses, extra reassurances that will carry me through the rest of the round. I think Tom is coming closer now too and I already see my weight yo-yoing slightly, but I'm calm enough now not to panic. I'll definitely be taking everyone's advise, thanks again.

Hi. i just wanted to leave you a message of support that I think you are off to a great start if you have seen a 6+ KG drop in the first two weeks of Round Two! Keep up the great work. What I post next may be subject to bashing, but it is my honest experience and I am comfortable that is has been right for me, although I completely respect it wonīt suit everyone on the board....

I finished Round 1 Phase 3 this past week and am stablized (currently) at 19 / 22 pounds below my Start weight ( 165 / 168 now at 140 / 146 ... I am using three different scales, two digital, daily at home and I have had some losses during P3 although I am eating great). I found out in the early days of Phase 2, that my homeopathic drops did not have actual HCG in them, and this really put my mind in a serious turmoil as to whether or not to continue with the diet. As it turned out, I gave in to a few cheating episodes due to not having my meals packed as I should have and kindof putting myself into the mode of "Well, Iīm not really on HCG anyway, so what difference does it make?" ... all in all though, I stuck to the eating plan of Phase 2 a total of 27 days out of 30 some days and I have abided by the Phase 3 plan without cheating for the required 3 weeks (though I will probably stay very low carb for several more weeks) ... I share all that to say, with regard to your drops, and as it turned out with mine, you may very well have a formulation that provides you with adequate "assist" to comfortably enjoy Phase 2 and enter a ketosis state, which is really what is relevant anyway, and if that is the case, you will know it because you will not feel as if you are in starvation mode ... if you sense you are genuninely hungry, then most likely you are and you may need a course change, but more than one of us have had great success (at least I feel I have) with some of the the 2012 hormone-free homeopathic drops. In my particular case, I have had significant reshaping continue while I have been in Phase 3 .... my clothes are testament to that, and except for experiencing a stomach bug at the beginning of Phase 3 (which I briefly thought was somehow related to my dietary changes, but I was wrong), I have had a great energy level every day except the first two days of P2 and my 3 sick days of P3 ( 5 rough days out of two months of dieting is A-okay in my book). I have kept track of my measurements and seen quite a reduction in my pinachable fat in all the right areas. I wish you luck. If you know someone else who has had good success with your brand of drops, donīt feel wrong about relying on them, but at the end of the day listen to whatever signals your body is giving you. Donīt be surprised if you see more reshaping towards the end of P2 and/or after a TOM if you are female.

Hiya Conejoazul,
Thank you firstly for you show of support that is greatly appreciated any support is welcome!
Secondly, I read over your experience on your particular brand of HCH and it definitely makes a lot of sense to me. I have been feeling great on this round. No tired, no constant hunger, I've been blessed to have had such a good experience so far and even I can admit it.
I guess what freaked me out was the idea that I was just screwing up my body with the drops i was using, I mean I was losing weight but how would I have known that it was burning the correct fat you know? and I was bummed about it, I admit it.
But you're right, I should start measuring so that I can see a reduction, rather then just rely on my scales and just take things as they come.
Thanks again for your words. I'll be constantly looking at this thread as a reminder. Thanks to everyone for their support.
