Hi Everyone,
still very new to the whole HCG thing. Downloaded a book on it yesterday from amazon and am trying my best to understand it. I have tried everything, I mean everything to lose weight and nothing has worked. I live in Austin, Tx and I want to do this correctly. Does anyone know where I can find a doctor that prescribes real HCG along with following the guidelines of Dr. Simeons protocol. I don't want to order it online, I just want to make sure I do this right. I mainly can not lose weight on anything due to hunger! And from what I have read about HCG it totally makes you not feel hungry. So I am in! I just need to find a reputable doctor. Anyone know of any? thanks |

I live in Dallas, & don't recommend ANY of the doctors around here. Do you know of anyone in Austin who has successfully completed the protocol, who could make a recommendation?
I was in a Doctor's program, my first round. I was on too high a dose, & was hungry. I am in my 2nd round now, without a doctor, & I am NEVER hungry. I would not ever try to discourage someone from using a doctor, I am just sharing my experience with you. Congratulations on your decision to make this positive step. Today, my total loss is 42 pounds! After my last round, I stabilized well; it was like an 'out-of-body experience' to lose so much weight and not see it creep back up, or the hunger & cravings return. The protocol works when you follow Dr Simeon's strict rules. |

I don't live in Texas, but I do have an anti-aging, wellness doctor who works with hcg. I suggest you find a wellness doctor in your area, as that sort of doctor is usually thinking outside of the box and does alternative medicine on some level. I think you could approach it by searching for docs who do hcg, and those who are wellness docs, and look at the ones who do both. I don't think I would want an clinic, as I think they are overpriced. My doc has alot of options: I can get homeopathic hcg drops for $40 a bottle, or I can do the injections at home, or he will work with me to find lozenges or other drops that I like better, and he will order them for me. He does offer some sort of support program, but it is not necessary to use that. He also does the BIA body composition analysis, which gives you information like how much of the weight you are losing is fat, and how much is lean tissue or water, etc. For myself, the only money I have spent on this diet so far is a few bottles of hcg, and a detox kit (very important due to the quick fat loss, I use HEEL brand). HTH

no I don't know anyone local that has lost weight on HCG, but I am sure there are some. My main concern is to get real HCG and the right dose, because if it doesnt work I am going to be so disappointed. Can I ask you where you get your HCG from? I really would like to go to a doctor to get it, but when I look online I find so many of them and I am not sure which are real.

I tried a "Wellness Doctor", an Osteopath, for bioidentical hormones, that was recommended by Suzanne Sommers. He was such a QUACK! Horrible experience! I know there must be some good ones, but I am THROUGH with "Wellness Doctors"! |

I got my drops through my wellness/antiaging doc, who is also an OB/GYN. I used homeopathic drops, which were at first the DesBio drops, but then they changed the formula (due to FDA concerns that never went through), and I was not happy with th enew ha2cg drops. I am going in to talk to them tomorrow about doing shots or he may order lozenges for me (probably these are the sublingual pellets, but not sure yet).
TXSweetCorn, did you need to have a prescription to order from Reliable RX.com? Or could you order without one? As far as what you call a quack, that term was created by the AMA to discredit homeopaths and other alternative medicine practitioners, who they felt threatened the AMA felt threatened by. They like to keep all the money to their members, rather than allowing Americans the free flow of information so they can figure out what works best for them. Alternative docs take alot of insults by people who do not understand how their brand of medicine works. Just some thoughts. ![]() |
