Default I am so hungry
Hi,

I have been injecting 100 i.U. (whatever that means but that's what is says on the box) for 10 days now and have been on VLCD for 7 days and I feel like I am STARVING! My enegry levels are so low that things that I do every day like walk up the 4 floors to my flat or bike to work are incredibly hard for me.

So far, I have lost 10.6 pounds, but a lot of that I lost during the first load days, I think it was water weight from my period that ended the day I started using the injections. From the beginning I never had the Melbas or grissini, and I have also cut out fruit, but I have replaced it with more protein. Yesterday I cheated for the first time at a business lunch where I could not refuse to eat the very fancy food our host was catering, but funny enough I lost 1 pound this morning. It was so good to have energy again, though!

From the forum I gather that my dosage might be wrong, but I am doing this supervised and it never seemed like another dosage was an option. I am now worried I am going to gain everything back afterwards - what should I do? I am only going to see my dietitian in a week, by then I will be half way through.

Thanks for your answers,
Romana

Dosage may be too low. You know, as chronically hungry person im actually very rarely hungry now and I contribute it several factors which I will list:
I inject 20iu (according to the insulin syringes I use to inject)
I drink coffee and water simutaniously all day long
I take a multivitamin that is in liquid form, its amazing
I take st johns wort daily to keep my spirits up
I take acetyl L carnitine daily to keep my brain working
I also take alpha lipoc acid daily...for no reason other than I have it and its apparently good for my cells or some such benefit.
I am also DONE being overweight so sheer determination helps A LOT

Hope this helps

You should not be hungry and should not be weak. And when you called your clinic, they should have told you that and what to do. But don't worry, one of the vets will guide you through.

Hi Grammy,

thanks for your answer, I will try to be as detailed as possible because I'm not sure what is relevant and also I am in Switzerland, so I am probably using a different brand than everybody else here:

- My first batch of 10 syringes was prepared by my dietitian, the second batch I prepared myself but I only used one of those yesterday
- This what by box says: Choriomon IBSA, 1000 I.U.Composition: Praeparatio cyrodesccia: gonadotropinum chorionicum 1000 I.U. hCG, lactosum monohydricum, Solvens: natri cholridi solutio 0,9% 1ml
- there are two components, a little bottle with pulver that I have to put the liquid content from the other bottle into
- Out of that my dietitian pulled/I pulled 10 syringes which I then kept in my fridge before I injected them into my belly fat
- I eat 500 kcal a day of tofu, chicken, spinache, salad, radish, fennel, cucumber, fat free vegetable broth, lemon juice, organic spices, very little stevisa
- I am not eating fruit, melba toasts or grissini at all
- I drink about 3l (3 liters = 3.18 qt = 101.76oz) a day of still mineral water
- I don't drink any coffee or tea
- I have no thyroids (which is the reason I have to lose weight in the first place) and take hormones to substitute

I am feeling a little better this morning, I am wondering if the first batch was spoiled because it was a hot day when I was in the clinic and they were not cool while I was weighed and measured and on the way home. It might also be due to the fact that when I made my injections, I had some liquid left which I pulled into the first syringe which I injected yesterday.

While being hungry and weak is of course very unpleasant, I am more worried that I might be losing the wrong kind of fat or even worse, muscle. But I have lost a lot already around my thies, where I usually don't lose anything.

Thanks so much for taking the time to help me, I really appreciate.

Cheers,
Romana

You don't know how much fluid you mixed into the water? That's what I need to know to figure out how much you are taking. You MIGHT be taking 200 iu which is too high. Try skippig your shot today and see how you feel by afternoon. That at least will tell us if the dose is too high or not. If you're better by late afternoon, then it's too high. If you're still hungry all evening, then it's too low.

I am pretty sure it's 100 because the whole package is 1000 and I am getting 10 injection out of it. It's 1ml of solution and I use all of it. One injection has 0.1ml.

Quick wave from Hamburg. You know tofu is not on protocol, right? And soy is evil... but that's coming from a paleo/ primal girl.

My dietitian said it was ok... But then again she never talked to me about my dosage so who knows. I had pretty good losses though. Hi from an exiled German (Cologne) in Zurich!

It always helps to stick to the original protocol: http://hcgdietinfo.com/Dr-ATW-Simeon...and-Inches.htm

So you are one of the evil Germans living in Switzerland, taking Swiss jobs. I spent quite some time in Zurich on business, when I set-up an AG over there for my (back then) Dutch employer. Loved Zurich, but wasn't tempted to actually move there and run the company... employer wasn't willing to adjust the salary upwards enough to actually allow for Zurich's living expenses. And I didn't feel like moving into a WG again. Or starve.

With a Swiss salary, it's quite nice but I am a little bit over it by now.. While the money and the nature is fantastic, it's really hard to get to know people here. I am from Cologne where you'll have 10 new friends in one night when you go out to a bar on your own. Some of them you'll never see again but some of them become real friends - here you hardly ever meet anyone but expants and they usually leave again. And I have to say all the negativity against Germans starts to get to me as well, especially since one of the things they say is that we're arrogant and think we're better than the Swiss, when all I hear at home is admiration for switzerland's great nature, economy and chocolate. It makes me angry sometimes.

Yeah, I noticed that, too - meeting people in CH is difficult. My ex boyfriend actually moved to Cologne a while ago - and yes, that means exactly what it sounds like. I always liked being in Cologne, but have to admit that Hamburg remains my favorite city...

I just talked to my dietitian and she said I should have more fat free vegetable broth. I know now I am on 100, but she didn't want to change my dosage.

If you are really taking 100 iu that is extremely low. Do you know how it was mixed? The answer to hunger is not more food because on the right dose you aren't hungry. Continuing on the wrong dose will result in losing the wrong kind of fat and quickly regaining the weight.

yes I mixed the 1000 iu with 1 ml of solution and then pulled 10 syringes out of it, 0.1 ml each. I'll go see the doctor instead of the dietician tomorrow. The dietician even told me I should have some grape-sugar which seems like an insanely bad idea to me.

If I get them to increase my dosage, what would you recommend? Does it have anything to do with weight and height? I'm 5'9 and currently at 175lb.

Thanks for your help!

Holy cow, that is a crazy way to mix it and to dose it. I'd go to 125 at least which is the dose prescribed by Pounds and Inches. That's going to be very hard to dose with the nutty way they had you mix.

Wow, did not know this. I do good all day and then about 6pm on I'm hungry. Not a ravenous hungry, more like a "gee i wish i could have another apple", type hunger. Is that normal?

I am so discouraged right now... They really don't want to change my dosage, because they say if my dosage is changed, my calorie intake has to be adjusted. Which makes absolutely no sense because what they tell me to do is eat more = change my calorie intake. I mean, that's ridiculous, if I eat 700-1000 kcal a day that's just a normal low fat low carb high protein diet, I don't need hormones for that. I insisted talking to the doctor again, I didn't have to pay a lot of money to STARVE.

This is the second night I woke up at 4.30 because I was too hungry to sleep. This is no fun at all.

Ugh. Tell them to stick to the freaking protocol: http://hcgdietinfo.com/Dr-ATW-Simeon...and-Inches.htm
500 cal, 125-150iu hcg...

Can you get to a German address right behind the border, by any chance? Then I could send you some within a day - mailing stuff to CH takes ages, unfortunately... though I could try. Send me a message?
