I started a few days ago, with my sleep schedule being completely backwards it is really confusing me as to exactly when. I know I started eating at midnight on Friday/Saturday and finsihed loading on Sunday/Monday. I didn't really load like I have done before, I just kinda ate what bad food we had left in the house(mostly poptarts and ricecrispy treats). It has been something like 3-4 days of vlcd. I have felt really weird this time... hungry, and after I eat I keep getting that weird bubbly stomach thing (idk how to describe it not really like gas) I am wondering if I should re-load. I haven't had bad losses thus far but I normally feel less bad. Adding to that I have also been trying to swap my sleep schedual I took a tylenol PM last night and slept till 2 in the afternoon (stupid stuff works too strong on me) so tonight I tried melatonin and that did squat. The way I normally swap it around is with food and pushing through till about 4 one day, I can't really do that right now on vlcd but it's very important that I swap back soon for work reasons. I am worrying that I didn't load right and it is going to affect how the reset goes and how much weight I lose overall... this is my last round I need to do it right. Please help! I have had a headache all day too.
Adding: I don't feel like I want to cheat, i just need to know if loading wrong is going to completely screw me over. I just don't want to have issues stabilizing. |

Not loading correctly will not affect your stabilization. But according to P&I, if you don't load properly, you may experience some difficulties in P2. I would think hunger, weakness, headaches, etc may be some of those difficulties. I think you should just ride it out if you can. What type of hcg are you taking? Are you sure it is good?
As for switching your wake/sleep schedule, I do that weekly, unfortunately. The best way is just to do it. Go to bed at 9 or 10 tonight (lay there tossing and turning if you can't sleep), set your alarm for 7 tomorrow morning and get up even if you're exhausted, and just stay on that schedule even if it is miserable for a few days. Don't take a nap in the afternoon or you'll never sleep at night. |

Thanks for responding, I have been going out of my mind. I don't know what I am going to do yet... how long did he say this difficulty would last for? The fact that it wont mess with my stabilzation is a big relief and this whole stress has triggered my emotional eating, and that alone makes me realize I don't need to do a load day right now... if it is just today maybe tomorrow I can push through it but if this is going to be the whole p2 I might have to load again to make up for it. I am still kinda stressed about it but as long as I can stabilize I wont completely break down lol.

my reply's aren't going through.
I started at 150iu first round went to 130iu second do you think it needs to go down any further? it feels like such a small amount as it is. I guess I will skip tonight and see how that goes. I can do this gonna grab a cup of coffee and watch some twilight zone.. and try to stay awake. It's probably sugar working its way out or something... i read something about a cleansing bath maybe I can try that This headache is really really persistant. |

I loaded wrong in Round 1 (ate a LOT of food, but not high fat). I felt awful the first week, but it got better. And I stabilized beautifully .... it's 7 months later and I only gained 3 pounds back!
I just started Round 2 (loaded Sunday and Monday) and I ate a TON of fat. I feel awful this week. I'm hoping next week is better. But I'm miserable right now. Headache, anxious and speedy, light headed, and hungry. |

I think you are in carb withdrawal, compounded by a flipping sleep schedule. It should settle down in a couple of days. You have too many things going on right now to be able to say with any certainty whether your dose is off or not. Try some soothing teas, a warm bath, and as jmmrr said, just push through when flipping your schedule. I used to have to do that too. Hearing your description brings it all back to me. I wasn't on the hcg diet then, but flipping would always give me GI issues, similar to what you describe, and a headache. It's a stressful thing to do to our bodies, but like you, I had to do it for my job, so I had no choice either. Hang in there and report back on how you are feeling, ok?

well, the worst of it seems to have passed. I have no headache and I managed to sleep from 3pm-10pm so this time I am pushing for 6 but will settle for anything after 3
