Default Follow HCG Diet during Ramadan?
I've begun following Phase 2 since Ramadan started (which entails dry/absolute fasting - abstinence from both food and drink from dawn to sunset, about 17 hours) and have been seeing results. I've been trying to search for previous threads where people may have already tried this but did not get any definitive answers. I eat each meal (fruit veg protein breadstick) at breakfast and then dinner, and drink a minimum of 2L of water (1 L before or after each meal), and am doing a 30 mins workout in the evening. Any thoughts or anyone that can share similar experiences?

Cheers,
Ciera

Shouldn't be much of a problem... you might lose a tad slower if you do your dinner late, since sundown is somewhere around 9pm right now - but other than that? I just checked - no, my next round won't be during yom kippur. But that would only be one 25-hour fast, which is different.

I was traveling in Egypt 2 yrs ago during Ramadan, and out of respect followed the rules. I was on p3 and did fine. I was worried, and as an american knew I wasn't obligated to follow the traditions....but as a visitor I wanted to respect their beliefs. I'd say don't worry about the 3 hr rule....you will have lots of activity and exercise in those hrs before bed time, from what I experienced,...so embrace the tradition, and it will work for you. . Hope this helps.

Thanks for your replies, it helps. I am finding though I'm on the third day of a stall and find that to be odd to be stalling so early in the diet, so I'm not sure what the cause can be attributed to.I'm going to try a few things out (green tea, probiotic supplement, an apple day) and see if it helps before I try something else

Don't do an apple day - that doesn't work. If at all, it will squeeze out water retention, but water retention does ot effect actual fat loss - plus, a stall is at least 4-5 days of a plateau, not one single day.

Almost everyone stalls around day 10 or so....I'm not sure what day you are on. I suggest cutting out the bread stick. Most of us don't eat it. Your stall will break. It's just your body catching up with the losses.

Um, papaya is definitely not on Dr Simeon's Pounds and Inches protocol. Which menu plan are you following?
