Default I dont know if its my OCD or me doing something wrong. Please help.
Hello everyone who might read this. Im currently on my 27th day of VLCD with hcg drops which im finding out now is called P3 and not P2. So far ive lost 26lbs. I have 10 more days to go. To make a long story short i am the epitome of a worrier. It almost borderlines OCD lol. But im only like this when it comes to this diet due to the fact that i want- NEED it to work so bad. I do everything to the exact measurement, count every little calorie, etc. For 3 days i was stuck at 310lbs exactly. So i decided it was time to try an apple day. I did that exactly how i was told. After starting the apple day on the 24th and finishing it on the 25th i felt good. I weighed in on the 26th and had lost 5 lbs! Now today is the 27th and i weigh in and im still at basically the same weight. Barely lost 1lb. So i ask am i doing something wrong? Or am i just worrying myself to death? This is so important to me as i still have so much to lose on the next few rounds. Please any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.


P.S. - I forgot to mention that i do my 15 minutes of treadmill/biking everyday. My shirt is usually soaked by then due to me being so out of shape and having just quit smoking 2 months ago.

You are worrying too much. You just had a 5 lb loss in one day and then you body didn't show much of a loss - That is NORMAL. Your body needs time to catch up with what you are doing. Sometimes an apple day doesn't work for some people on P2 and is used - I believe - when you have had a stall in weight loss for at least 4 days. You may also be at a previous weight - set point that you were at in the past and your body has stopped there for a day or two.

Keep doing what you have been doing and your losses will start again or you might want to go into P3 to give your body a break to adjust to your new weight. During P3, I'd suggest increasing your cardio and include some weight training so that you can begin to tone up.

Thank you so much for the reply. Ill just stick to my routine and hope for the best. One question i have now is the phases. Would the phase im in now be P2? That seems to be the only part that confuses me lol. There was like an extra phase added from Kevin Trudeau.

You are in P2 now not P3. P3 is the maintenance period after the diet. An apple day is just psychological. It's never to be done until 4 days on the same weight and even then you generally stall out again until your body is ready to let go. You're doing great. Relax!

Thanks grammy! Yeah i was confused on the phases. So i assume P4 is when you start to eat normally again? Also im wondering how many days after P3 should i wait till i start another round? Thank you so much for the reply.

Yes it's when you start adding back in starch and sugar, if you ever do. Some of us move on to the healthy paleo diet. You need to wait 6 weeks after ending one round to start another. Good luck!

26lbs is AMAZING! You must feel so proud of yourself! First of all- while the diet helps- it's YOU who makes it work. =) Apple days aren't supposed to be done on p2, but that's ok. A 3 day "stall" isn't a big deal- in fact it's pretty normal, especially after losing 26lbs! Just keep to what you are doing, you are doing AMAZING!

apple days are prescribed for P2. That's the ONLY time they are allowed. But they don't work that great as I said. But they ARE allowed.

Thank you all for your feedback! It really helps. The last thing im unsure about is when it comes to P4 am i able to keep losing weight by doing cardio and sticking to a paleo diet? Or is that a no no? I thought i read somewhere that im not supposed to gain or lose MORE than 2lbs and if i do im supposed to do a steak day that day. Again any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
