So, I had a great first round of HCG in November 2012. I went from 136 to 119 pounds. Stabilized really well at 122 and I've held it for 7 months (I've gone as high as 124, but always settle right back around 122 when I eat don't eat things I'm allergic to).
I'm starting round 2 next week for 2 reasons: 1. My goal is 110 pounds (I'm 5'0 tall, so that's perfectly reasonable), so when I level off afterwards I will be around 112 or 113 (since I seemed to have gained 3 pounds last time after injections). 2. I recently had ankle surgery and know that HCG has anti-inflammatory properties that could be beneficial to me right now. Is there any chance that a round 2 could mess up my success of round 1? Or does my success in round 1 mean I'll have the same or greater success in round 2? I'm planning a short round (26 days) and repeating everything I did the first time (except that was 31 days). Thoughts? |

Just a warning, R2 can be tough. |

I thought round 2 was harder than round 1. The first round, I was excited about trying something new and completely focused on this diet. The second round, I was bored with it and just wanting to get to my goal, even though I knew I'd have to do 3-4 rounds. I think the lack of enthusiasm made it harder. I stabilized equally well in both rounds, and I lost slightly faster in R2 even though it felt slower.
