Hi All,

I had to purchase Rx hcg due to me not stabilizing after using hhcg. ADC seemed to have the best/most reviews from the forum vets. But I was scared to use my credit card due to the ADC hacking thread.

I did A LOT of research to try and find a virtual credit card company that I could trust since I couldn't find an international pre-paid card. So I literally began looking up all the ones I could find (including their parent companies) with the gov't, BBB, and complaints sites. This was days worth of research.

The good news is I finally found one I wanted to tell everyone about. The company is called Shop Shield and it is for anyone with a bank or credit card. It doesn't matter if your bank provides this service or not.

Now...just so everyone is clear...I don't work for them nor am I paid by them, their parent company, or am I any type of reseller. I just wanted to share this with you since I see so many of us wanted to buy safely online.

Some of the Shop Shield features include:
1. A free trial period
2. Option to load online instantly with your credit/debit card or bank account (I used a pre-loaded credit card for extra protection)
3. A section on their sign up page that tells you how to tell if you are using a secure site even down to your PC's operating system
4. Best feature to me: their guarantee that if your card is breached while using their service they will reimburse up to $10K more than the coverage provided by your credit card company or bank

I did use them yesterday to purchase from ADC. They are legit and my transaction went through to ADC without a hitch (and they had no clue it was a virtual one-time number). I checked my credit card account online today and only the charge for my purchase was there. Also, since it was a 1 time use virtual card (you can create more if you decide to sign up), I know there won't be any additional charges by ADC or Shop Shield unless I sign up.

If you're interested and your bank doesn't offer the one-time use virtual credit card feature (mine does not), you can go to www. shopeshield. net ---> just remove the spaces.

I do have 2 suggestions:
1. Try to get as much hcg as you think you'll need so that you can buy it all during the free trial period
2. Don't forget to cancel during the free trial if you don't think you will use the service again

And, ironically, I had to google "ShopShield" and "International Online Purchase" to find this thread. And I'm already a member here, lol!!!! Colleen, if you're reading this, how 'bout making it a sticky?

Prepaid Visa Debit Cards do NOT ALLOW international purchases. And even if they did......their numbers could still be stolen. A one time use virtual credit card number as is the case with ShopShield is unbeatable; the number can only be used once!! AND again -- virtual credit card numbers used at ShopShield...apparently work just fine with online INTERNATIONAL orders!!! Even at ADC (alldaychemist).....!!! WOOOO HOOOO!

TwinsMama, THANK YOU for this post! Saved my sanity knowing you've already used them without issue, and used them at ADC of all places -- which is where I'll be ordering from -- without any issues either!!

Thanks for sharing this info. FWIW I did purchase from ADC using a prepaid Visa Card just last week. Seems to have worked as it has already been shipped. I was worried about using a prepaid Visa Card because I am in Canada and I kept reading that it wouldn't work for an international order.
Not too sure why it works for some and not others. Maybe next time ShopSheild may be a good option.

Hey, that's great to hear. Perhaps in Canada there are prepaid visa debit cards that don't have restrictions like they do here. In the U.S. all prepaid visa debit cards seem to say "only valid for purchases with U.S. Merchants." This goes for online merchants and in person. GreenDot I know is a re-loadable debit, that may or may not work at international online merchants. After all my googling on GreenDot it seems it does work at international ones, but only after someone registers (gives ss #, address, etc.) the card first. And then it seems to be a 50/50 shot that it'll work with an international merchant.

For now, I'm going to try the ShopShield route. They're a .net domain, not a .com, by the way. I tried to go to the .com one, only to see it was not the right site...

Maybe because alot of Canadians do business with the US, their pre paid cards are international, since we're a whole different country. Apologies to the Canadians, we just count most of you as one of us (some, well, they know who they are...LOL).

While I like the idea and was going to try it, I stopped the
free trial when it asked for my social security # and my birth date.
Very risky business giving out those two sensitive pieces of
info along with name and address. I suppose it's shop shields way
of positively id'ing you but I don't feel comfortable releasing that info
over the internet and never will. Friend of mine opened a debit account
that requires no minimum balance. We buy the HCG through
this account and only deposit the amount needed just before ordering
the hcg. Works out well.
