Default First day of P2... eh!
Hey all,

Just have to say the loading phase was my absolute favorite. With that being said, the first day of P2 sucks! I am hungry (It's controllable hunger, but still I would love an extra grissini breadstick... or six)

Please tell me this hunger subsides eventually as the days go on. Knowing me, I probably didn't do the loading phase right and that's why I am hungry right now.

I am doing 175IU SQ shots daily in the AM. How many days do I have to be hungry for until I am to adjust my dosage?

You shouldn't be hungry at all, not even the first day - so I am guessing that your dose is too high. Wisdom would have you skip a day now, no injection, to see if you feel better the next day... in that case, take it down to app. 150iu.

Also, is it true hunger or could you just be having cravings? Cravings are very normal, and should definitely lessen over time, but as sweetiepie said, you should not be feeling true hunger.

No, if u loaded rt and ur dose is rt u shouldn't. But sometimes we ve to learn to differentiate between hunger & cravings (since u were talking abt the grissinis in particular). Try eating a bit more veggies.
175 is a bit too high as a start. But u r not supposed to b skipping doses until u ve had 4 injections. I guess today was ur third? I d go down to 150 tomorrow & if still hungry skip the 5th injection & c if u feel better.

Thank you for the solid advice everyone. I started taking 150 IU (0.3 mL) today and will see how it goes from there.

175 is too high for the majority of people. It's going to take a couple of days at 150 to feel the effects of the lower dose. To get there faster, I'd do 125 tomorrow. You may even need to go lower than 150 as your regular dose.

I HATE loading. It's the very worst part of the diet for me. LOL
