Digital scale reccs, food and bathroom?
 

I need to buy a digital food scale, I don't have one. I really need to buy a new bathroom scale anyway. My dial scale I can barely read it, the numbers are so tiny. Any reccs? I don;t need one that reads body fat and all that just a reliable digital scale for the bathroom and a food scale for dummies.

I bought the Eat Smart brand from Amazon. I've been very happy with it and I can read it even in the middle of the night b/c it lights up. Not that *I* would do that...lol...

My bathroom scale costs a bazillion dollars (Withings), and it is crap. It "measures" body fat, and it does a horrible job of it. My scale says that I am 29-21% BF, and my H's scale says that I am 24%. My boot camp instructor is a personal trainer, and he says that they are wildly inaccurate. He measured me with calipers at 7 sites, and says my body fat is 22%. He also says that his measurements aren't perfect, but his ARE a whole lot cheaper than having it done accurately via water displacement, and they are a whole lot more accurate than bathroom scales.

If I can get the company to do a refund, I am going to. We are "in discussions". Ha.

That stinks! I hope they give you at least a pertial refund!. That is why I didn't want a scale with the body fat, I have heard over and over how inaccurate they can be. Good luck

I bought a Taylor food scale from Target. It lasted through one round and then died. I do not recommend it. Most modern digital scales aren't that great. They have a memory so they won't "let" you lose weight every day. You have to trick it by getting on the scale holding something heavy in between official daily weigh-ins. That'll reset the memory. But any scale should work. You don't need one that's expensive or fancy.
