Hello ladies!
Finally got my order in and wanted to know, have any of you ever tried HCG with the amino diet? I know that many of you typically are on the HCG diet that only allows 500 calories. However, the doctor that I go to allows more calories than that (800-1000) and you STILL absolutely lose weight (in less than 2 weeks, I was down 15 lbs but stopped b/c of an out of town trip). I was doing some reading and saw that there were a couple women who did the HCG with amino diet? Any thoughts on that? Thanks ladies. |

With more calories, you might still be losing, but you are missing many of the HCG diet's main advantages. Like a rested hypothalamus.
It baffles my mind why you would want/ need more calories. If your dose is right (which many clinics and doctors mess up), you are not hungry on 500cal. I had trouble reaching my calories each day. This is not just about weight loss. In my case, inflammation went down within 2 weeks, making me pain-free for the first time in two years. For the first time in... 10 years? 15 years? I am finally leptin sensitive again. I eat small portions, I am full when I have had enough and actually feel HUNGER again at appropriate times. I have no cravings, nothing. Why jeopardize the huge advantages of HCG and mess up stabilization and keeping the weight off, just because some clinic thinks it can "improve" the protocol - and keep you coming back for years, since you aren't able to keep it off and still remain with a messed-up metabolism? |

Just now seeing this response.
There have been tons of people who have gone to this specific clinic, followed their plan, and kept the weight off after in the maintenance phase. I never said (nor did they ever say) that their protocol improves the HCG program. What I did say was that their meal plan allowed for more food than the 500 calories. That was it. Do you, by any chance, know anything about the amino diet? |
