I am obsessed with stepping on the scale. I do it at least 8 times a day. I get really depressed if I step on and I feel like I weigh too much at any given time. I always weight myself right before bed and get so worried if I feel like I'm not going to be happy with my number in the morning.
Is anybody else like this? p.s. I lost 9 lbs in 6 vlc days. |

Hello,
I used to hop on the scale all the time too. But now I am on my 2nd week of P2, and everyone says that starting the second week, the weight does not come off as fast each day. I am trying to go against the grain, and try so hard to lose 2 - 3 pounds a day still. I have lost 18 pounds in 11 days. |

This round I have been using the scale every day so far, but only in the morning. I'm actually sort of the opposite of most and sort of hate the scale, so in a previous round after the first week of P2 I only weighed myself weekly (every day in P3 though). It really helped me focus on the long term weight loss and not the daily fluctuating numbers. The scale used to have the power to really depress me if I saw a tiny loss or no loss or especially a gain. I may decide to start doing that again once my losses slow down as they inevitably will

You're going to drive yourself mad. lol
I weight every morning but no other time. I would be too depressed to see how much it might fluctuate during the day. Weight once a day at the same time every day and that should give you an accurate assessment. I am obsessed with stepping on the scale. I do it at least 8 times a day. I get really depressed if I step on and I feel like I weigh too much at any given time. I always weight myself right before bed and get so worried if I feel like I'm not going to be happy with my number in the morning. |
