Default hcg and menstruation...
I'm sure there are a million posts about this but I didn't see any, so forgive me, and...

What has been your experience with the diet when you're menstruating? I know that on protocol you are supposed to stop the hcg but keep the diet during your period. From what I can find, Dr. Simeons didn't give a reason for this. Does anyone have anything to say regarding the WHY of stopping during your period?

Also, I'm interested to know what your experience with TOM was on the diet, whether or not you continued the hcg. So basically...I just asked everyone a really personal question.

I just started the diet a week ago and I'm trying to decide what I'm going to do when TOM shows up. Thanks all!

I didn't stop either... other than that, TOM sucks on hcg, at least for me. Gained a bunch within one single day, was spotting in between, spotting when starting P3, then late... complete mess.

Personally I don't stop taking hcg during TOM. I tend to have slightly smaller losses during TOM, but fortunately I have never seen a gain during it, knock on wood.
