I know that this whole process should be a total life change. However, I am only on day 5 of the 500 cal. diet. I'm wondering if smoking is going to make any difference in the loss of weight? I'm cutting down, and planning on quitting completely as soon as possible. Thanks for the help!

I'm on day 6 of the 500 calorie diet and I found that smoking helps me when I'm feeling particularly irritable, or when my stress levels are so high that I feel I need to eat something. I'm a social smoker so I don't do it as a habit, but it helps me somewhat during those really, really difficult moments.
Interestingly enough, I was required to go to a club the other night and smoking a stick kept me away from eating the chips and alcohol! All I did was drink water all night. |

Don't think it affected my losses in any way.
Come on, we all know it is evil... But quitting while also changing your food choices? Yeah right. I would be constantly grazing, trying to keep my hands or mind off cigarettes... So no, not now. I am planning on switching to e-cigarettes again, but haven't gotten all my supplies in yet. |
