Hello,
I am about to do another cycle of HCG and was wondering is anyone has bought any other products to help them succeed in the diet. I saw there are some other things online that might be helpful to lose the most weight possible. Has anyone used any of these products or considered getting them? -HCG cookbook -HCG test strips -Meal replacement bars -calorie counter -food scale -food journal -any other vitamins/supplements -Anything else that I might have forgotten I want to make sure I get all that I can out of this diet. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!! |

We absolutely purchased a food scale to ensure we were using 100g / 3.5oz of proteins.
Found a "Biggest Looser" branded one in the local grocery store for all of $19.99 digital and did both OZ or Grams. Sold! Edit: Looked at the scale while weighing dinner, it only says TAYLOR on it, the "Biggest Looser" branding was only the box/carton, once opened and removed the scale itself bears no markings or branding for TBL, just the Taylor name/logo. |

I haven't bought a cookbook, but I've used recipes that people have posted on this message board. I also like phasestoforever.blogspot.com for recipes. The Greek chicken and rosemary ranch chicken are delicious.
I haven't ever tested my hcg. It seems to be working fine. I think you can just use a pregnancy test from the drugstore. There are no meal replacement bars allowed. I can check calories online. I bought a food scale at Target or Walmart. I think it was Taylor brand. It died during my third round. I've been estimating this round. A scale is important and I recommend you buy one. I kept a great food and weight loss log on my computer during R1. I've used pencil and paper since then. I do take some supplements, but they aren't necessary. I'm cheap. I don't like to buy a lot of unnecessary stuff. But if you think buying some of those things will give you more motivation, go for it. |

I used a postage scale that I bought for business. It worked perfectly for measuring food.
I created an account with fitday.com to keep track of my weight, my food, exercise, water intake, and mood. It was helpful, but their forums weren't very hcg-friendly. So, I found this forum for encouragement MUCH, MUCH better. |
