Im back again doing HCG injections 3rd round. Well really 4th but the 2nd was 1/2 arse done and the 3rd I just didnt get into it had too many major things going on in life. Anyhow, I started again this week Im on VLCD4 and only lost 2.5lbs day 1, 1lb day 2, .5 day 3. Its very frustrating I did much better on my other rounds.
The difference with this round is #1 Im having a awful time getting dosage right. Im using Corion and I was doing 175 which now I know is far to high, so yesterday I went to 150 and I was still starving to pieces and lightheaded. Due to being so hungry I upped my protein and ate an extra apple. But thats about all off protocol. The other change is that I have previously started each round right after TOM was done. This time Im starting right at ovulation time. I dont eat veggies but I do blend them. I was pretty much eating clean prior to this round and most my meals consisted of blended juicers. I have just been using my magic bullet to blend a single serving each time so Im sure Im getting my veggies. For example I will blend 1.5 handfuls of spinach with 4/5 strawberries and some stevia. Oh also, I didnt work out on the other rounds, but I have worked out 5 days a week for the past yr so I decided to keep on this round. It seems as if I lost muscle last time so the only workout Im doing is 15 mins of strenght training and since this is my first week on protocol, Im only doing it every other day and walking. Today I am going to skip my injection and see if that helps. Could the high dosages be causing me not to drop so fast or are these normal losses for the beginning. I just remember losing all my load weight in the first 2 days before and then dropping to .5 lb days. The other concerning thing is that I feel bloated. Also, I dont know much about cycling but Im going to be looking into that. Id like to give the patches a try - should I cycle and try them at the beginning of the next or should I just go straight to the patches now? Any info is appreciated thanks |

you should always skip an injection when adjusting downward. Otherwise it takes several days. Also Corion is very strong, so you may need to go all the way down to 125. I can't advise you about cycling but I tried the patches and was starving the whole time on them. They don't work for everyone. They don't actually contain hcg. They work in a very different way (if they work for you at all.) They work for others on here, but there are some of us that they just don't work for.
As far as the losses, when the dose is off, the losses are not stellar. But later rounds often aren't quite as good as the first one and if you've been eating clean for a year that means you haven't added a lot of water weight with carbs. So that can affect things. Good luck, honey! |

Thanks Colleen I needed to hear that. Ok so skip a day and go down to 125. I was afraid of skipping an injection so soon in the process but I definately will today.
I slowly got into eating clean within the last 6 months, but definately the last two I was eating clean. I wasnt perfect but definately eating mainly veggies, fruit and protein. I cut out all dairy and breads. So that makes a ton of since. OK I better now - I love coming here and knowing Im gonna get support and good advice. I ddnt even plan on doing HCG again. I researched it like 2 mths ago but saw that it was difficult to get so I just brushed it off thats when I went to pretty much clean eating. Then last weekend I went to my friends house for the weekend and she said she was starting and had ordered a good supply of it from Fran prior to the shut down knowing it might happen. So I decided Sunday to do it with her and started Monday. So I didnt gear up and I definately dont think I loaded well. Having eatin clean for 2 months loading was difficult but I did load on avacado, almonds etc. the good fats but I definately didnt take advantage of it like I used to. haha May not have been a good move I realize. |
