I'm on p3 right now, soon to be cycling back into p2. I'm rogue though lol.
I'm 5'6" and have lost about 32lb so far, I want to lose at least 130lb total. Below is my latest comparison pics. If you haven't taken before photos, I recommend you do, it's a really good motivator when you're feeling down or feel like you can't be bothered. Attachment 10927 |

In my 20's I lost 80lbs the old fashioned way...eating natural and heathly (lean protien, lots of veggies, fruit, No refined sugar and very little starch) plus light exercise, and it took a loooonggg time to get it off (about a year and a half), although I kept it off (except during my 2 pregnancies when I gained a bit, but also lost right after my babies were born). I am 5'6" on HHCG started at 177 lbs (post load weight), and I did a long P2 round of 50 days lost 37lbs now in P3D14 and stabilizing fairly well. After P3 I plan to go on to p4 until the end of June so that I can celebrate my anniversary with a little treat which will be the beginning of my loading days for R2P2. I hope to lose another 15 lbs and then stabilize around 125. So far I have been amazed by the results! During my R1P2 I would get so excited about the weight coming off so quickly and easily I couldn't sleep at night! All the best to you!

Hey! I'm 5'5 and weighed in at 197 to begin with. I've lost just over 16 lb.........my sig says 180 but I'm hovering around 181 in P3 so far. I think I should be about 155 for my height (or less really but that's the top weight for my height so I'm aiming for that to begin with). I will do another round in a few months and hopefully get in the 160s somewhere (that's my next mini-goal) |

wow Jayy, you look great in your last photo, what a difference a 32 lb loss makes to you. You look smaller than 249 lb too - I would have put you at a much lower weight than that if I had only seen the photo and not read your signature info - congrats. Yeah I seem to hold my weight rather strangely.... Most people do not realise how much I actually weigh!!!! It's actually quite awkward when people guess or hint at what they think my weight is and they're usually 30 - 50lb off the mark lol!! I don't know why that is. I am reasonably muscular, but I don't think it's enough for that kind of weight, perhaps I have heavy organs or literally am "big boned" hahaha. I wonder if because of it, I'll stop noticing my weight loss so much soon because I literally have 100lb to lose, but I wonder if I'm going to notice changes all the time or if it'll be hard to tell? Congrats on your 180! I cannot WAIT to be 180. That's a difficult thing to remember eh, where we are now and itching to lose from is where someone else dreams to be |

Thanks Jayy, I'm loving the fact that I've lost 16 lb and actually seem to be keeping it off for a change - week 1 of P3 and it all seems to be going well (fingers crossed). I did Atkins once about 7 years ago and got down to 177 but just gained it all back again really quickly and I didn't actually notice any inches lost which is weird. The inches seem to be sticking around now too but people seem to say that for most they go later in P3 so I'm hoping that will happen to me too.
Body shape is a funny thing - I think your stomach looks smaller than mine........but I'm too wimpy to post a pic wearing my underwear to prove it LOL ![]() It could be that you're big boned. To tell if you're big boned you're supposed to wrap your index finger and thumb around your wrist - if they overlap, small boned, if they touch you're medium and if they don't touch, you're big boned. Mine don't touch so I'm comforting myself with that because it means that I can aim for the higher weight in my height/weight 'zone' and haven't got to lose as many lbs to get there ...... ha ha, the things we tell ourselves to get out of losing weight ![]() |

Well my fingers most definitely don't touch when I do that, but I don't know if I believe in being "big-boned". I also have very abnormally small hands/short fingers so it's not a very good test for me hahaha. But I think your build definitely affects your weight goals! So fair enough for aiming for higher in the healthy weight range if you feel your build calls for it. My only definite goal at this point, ~148lb, is at the high end of my weight range too, I think it's about a BMI of 23.8. I don't give a lot of credit to BMI either for it's lack of accounting for muscle, but it is good for a loose guide. I've always had a smaller "top half" than "bottom half", pear pear pear. At one point my top half was around a US4 and my bottom half was a US10. It's my thighs, they're just big. When I see those skinny legs I can't imagine how legs get that way, I don't think it's possible for me, they've NEVER been like that. And when I was really into sport what started happening is my stomach just got even skinnier, ribs showing, and my thighs were STILL big. It's pretty frustrating, I'm never going to be a babe in jeans. I only wear skirts and dresses really. Besides work and the gym, you wouldn't catch me wearing pants or jeans. I wonder what really determines body shape and build because my mum is more an apple, she has straight up and down legs with not a lot of shape. They're not skinny as such, but they're not shapely. |

Alpha omega hcg.jpghCG before and after.jpgI am a 6'6" dude and dropped over 110 lbs. I did gain some of it back but am losing it with another round. First six months lost the 110 lbs. This six months ending in July I want to lose another 20 lbs and stabilize.
Look at the hyperlink in my signature below. Ciao |

I am very much a pear, until I got past 250lb in the first place my tummy was always quite flat... my thighs though...... geeeeesh. even when I'm super-skinny i still had un-short-skirt-worthy knees and thighs... The weirdest thing is I've got photos of myself when I was 12-13yo and guess what: scarecrow legs (damn you abnormal fat!) I've taken measurements as I've lost weight before though and with the hcg my cms are definitely not coming off the same places. Usually I lose 2 cm around my bust, for every 1 cm waist and 1/2 cm thighs and 1/4 or 1/3 cm on my knees. This time around I'm losing about 2cm bust: 2cm waist: 2cm hips: 2cm thighs; 1cm knees..... Man, lovin' this HCG stuff! (whaat?! I get to keep my boobs, omgyay! lol) ![]() On my next round If I get down to goal weight and I still have a disproportionate lower half (at this rate I won't have to though!) I think I'll take some of the advice I've found on here and mix it with a 'The HCG Diet Book of Secrets' reshaping round: continue hcg injections but up my calories just until i'm not losing weight, while also wearing compression leg stockings either daily or nightly to help redistribute any excess lower body fat. [I think i remember reading that Dr S helped an extreme-case patient who was resistant to losing her lower body weight... he had her continue the diet while on continuous bed-rest and had her legs tightly bandaged by the nurses (it required constant medical supervision for her safety). I'm guessing the compression stockings are working on the same principle but not so harsh/dangerous] I hit 15lbs lost today too... yay! ![]() I'm 5' 8.5" and started Day 1 @ 175.6lbs (put on 3 lbs during loading) and now i'm 160.2 |

My tops all have to be stomach covering tops. Another round of hcg later this year and hopefully that will change. Well done to all of us - we're all doing brilliantly ![]() |
