Default Whaaat? Why no sugar free gum?! And is there a gluten free food substitute section?
Appreciate the answers. I can't imagine dieting without sugar free gum. I don't understand hoW, logically, it could effect weight loss when it has no calories. And is there a list of gluten free subs for the bread sticks? Thanks so much!

It's best to just cut the starch. You'll lose better. Gum is sweet tasting and can still trigger an insulin response.

Just started the diet and I thought gum was ok. Ummm, I literally could not stop chewing it. The flavor would run out and I'd need another piece... Literally 25 pieces later (I was at work so too busy to notice Id burn threw that much) the pack was gone and I was grateful. I did not crave anymore, and I will not touch it again. It's helpful for me when I get stressed I tend to clench my jaw, which triggers a migraine, so I try to chew it normally. I hope it's not too hard to keep migraines at bay now.
