Default Dietart Supplement Omega-3 Fish Oil?
Is it okay to take Omega-3 fish oil as a dietary supplement while on the plan? My doc recommended it but not sure I should take it right now. Also, what about niacin. Is it okay?
Thanks

I searched for this response, because I'm concerned about this! I just had LASIK surgery last month on my eyes. One side effect of the surgery is dryness of the eyes. I've tried everything I could to combat it, including a constant stream of eyedrops. What finally cured it for me was daily supplements of green lipped mussel capsules. They are freeze dried mussels, tho, not the oil form. They are the only source that provides all 18 omega oils. I can't stop these supplements because they are for my eye health. I'm worried now that it will totally destroy my HCG efforts!! Thoughts?

Sometimes you have to do things on the protocol that will slow down the weight loss. For me, that was my bioidentical hormones but I wasn't willing to go back to daily migraines. I still got there. So just be aware that it's possible they may slow down your weight loss but you will still get there even if you a lose a little more slowly than some.
