Default FYI: Link to interesting study with slightly different food/hCG preparation protocol
I found this PDF article from the Am Journal of Clinical Nutrition, explaining a study done. It suggests never letting the hCG get warm nor older than a week, offers some different vegetables and foods, and outlines a strict -- but different -- beginning protocol (not wild abandon). Then it gives a more free yet still resctricted food list.

While I'll stick to most of Simeons' food protocol, I'll probably eat broccoli with a free conscience, and might even add chicken livers. (Or not. I pretty much prepare and eat identical foods day-after-day. Right now, it's chicken and grapefruit).

Anyway, hope those of you who like to read and research find this adds to your thoughts about the Diet.

If you check it out, let me know what you think.

This is a really good study. The one statement that was made that was wrong was that Simeon didn't feel the results were better with hcg, just that it suppressed the appetite and made the patient feel better. That's not true at all.
