Feeling like I just want to be done today.. I'm bored with the food... and just kind of feelin blah about it. I've lost 17ish pounds and am feeling really good about myself. I have like 3 or so weeks left a little less maybe. I'm about half way through or so but man I'm feeling like I just want to jump ship. I know that if I stay ont he diet for 6 weeks I will stabilize better. I really do want to lose like 10 more pounds.. gaah I'm going crazy right now. ANy suggestions.. oh and going for a walk isn't an option its pouring outside. I can't go for a drive either.. I live in NYC... pooo trying to stay strong.

Hi i just want to tell you not to give up. this forum had been an inspiration for me. I dont have any pointers on how to get through this as i didnt even make it one day on VLCD.
Im not sure why im having such a hard time, ive been on low calorie diets before and i have alot of will power. i think we just have our days that we just get bored and want to eat like normal again. I think you are having one of those days. try to entertain yourself, join a new forum make new friends. chat. DO NOT look at or smell food. dont even cook. just think if you get through today its one step closer. take it day by day, dont look at it as three weeks to go, look at it as 3 more hours until bed time and you will be ok until next day. |

or just go to sleep! Water, pickles, look up recipes to mix things up. Dont go wild it's just noooot worth it ive seen it happen too many times with people that I introduced the diet to, and then next month they are kickin themselves for not being strong enough, and have to start all over. Once you get to the finishline, it's not so bad! It FLIES when you look back on that month of p2.

Completely agree with Lizzy... the time flys. Try different recipes. Think outside the HCG box and try to modify favorites. Tyler Florence has a carne asada recipe that I love... I leave out the oil and the jalapeņo & it doesn't even feel like I'm on a diet. If you can, splurge on fresh herbs instead of dried... it makes a difference. Also, I mentioned in another post that I like to buy a cute outfit in the size I want to be and I put it right next to my bed. It helps me stay focused on the goal.

OMG I was reading your post and that was me at week 4. I had only lost 17 or so pounds and was so frustrated and miserable!! I was having food cravings that would NOT quit. I was on this forum all day long. I would count the hours until lunch then count the hours til dinner then count the hours until bedtime. Then would pray before I got on the scale the next morning....only to see that I stayed the same or maybe lost a few ounces. AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! I wanted to quit this diet in the worst way. I was a BITCH to be around. Then I cheated. I ate some chocolate after 4 weeks. Got it out of my system and was able to pull myself together to get back on the wagon. Then on Sunday I ran out of drops. I was so pissed because I had purchased a 43 day bottle at $120.00 and it only lasted me 31 days. Perfect excuse to begin ph 3 but my husband convinced me NOT to quit and to see it through another two weeks (this was over this past weekend) so, he purchased another bottle (this time the smaller one for $70) I am down 4 pounds this week and still have tomorrow to finish off the week then only one more week to go!!! So, in 34 days I am down almost 21 pounds. Not too bad. Hopefully, in another week I could be down another 4-5 pounds. I will be happy losing 25 pounds in 6 weeks. I still have another 25 pounds to go but I know that after a short maintenance I could do another round. I would NEVER do another 40 day round but I know I could do a 23 day round and lose another 15. Today, I am really really hungry and want to eat everything in the house. But I keep drinking water (which I hate) and trying to keep busy. I have come this far I can do this....and so can YOU!!! I have eaten the same thing for five weeks. Chicken on the grill with steamed spinach or asparagus or steak on the grill with spinach or asparagus or shrimp on the grill with spinach or asparagus. Strawberries and apples. EVERYDAY for the past five weeks. The funny thing is...I am so grateful for the food that I don't care that it is the same stinkin thing that I have eaten every single day. Soon it will be over. Listen....I know this really sucks!!!! but anything that is worth it is worth working hard for! Nothing comes easy. You want the weight off just like I do and everyone else on this forum does and we have this place to vent just like you did and I did. Now pick yourself up and finish what you started. Hang in there...kiddo.. we are all in this together!!! |

Thanks for the encouragement! I made it through yesterday. I had some sashimi ast night for dinner which was delicious. I ate more protein than normal because I think I really needed. Thus the reason for all the cravings I think. I didn't lose through the night, but I didn't gain either. I was so worried I was going to gain because I had gained the night before for no reason. I think I found my inspiration to keep going. I was just incredibly bitchy and hungry last night. So anywyas, I'm thankful I ate the extra protien and it was new and different and I didn't really cheat. If i'm stalling today then that means I should be losing some more inches soon. I stalled in week 2 as well and lost inches. My body just needs to catch up with my loss. I'm pretty happy with almost 17 for now. I just want to get as close to 30 as possible so here's to hoping. Thanks again everbody.
