Default To load or not to load?
So I am ready for another round, I have been eating atrociously for three weeks now I was moving but I have the kitchen all ready to go got my hcg unpacked and mixed and today is my birthday. I had my party yestarday and have a whole week with no responsibilitys. This seems like the perfect day to start my. Next round. The big question I guess is should I count my bad food eating before as a good enough load? Or should I load today? Do I need to load 2 days? I am really wanting to get through all the sugar carb and caffiene withdraws before Saturday. Since then my husband will be home. It's TOM though and I remember I am supposed to wait till after that..: but I really want to start today. What would u do in my situation?

I would wait until after TOM. Then I would take the hcg and load for 2 days. Overeating without hcg doesn't count as loading, sorry.

Personally, since my opinion from reading here is that women tend to stall more the few days before and the first few days of their period, I would load sensibly on the two days that make the halfway point of my period. It is pretty evident that hCG tends to mess with most women's cycles, anyway, and you could restart after 2 days, after a week, or just bleed continuously for 15 days. So I would get past the part that seems the most problematic, and then harness my enthusiasm and plunge in headfirst!

Good luck!

I'd agree with BadKitty. Partway through your period wouldn't be a bad time to start but I wouldn't load with more crap. I'd just eat good fats and protein to capacity. I don't "load" like I used to. I don't want that garbage in my body. Chocolate of course is not garbage.

I agree with bad kitty and Colleen.....but want to add that moving can be very stressful, which increases your cortisol levels.....making losing weight more difficult. I know from experience, lol! Make sure you have calmed down a bit before you start too. .

I think the FDA made chocolate a required food group in the pyramid!

Well, i went ahead and loaded for 2 days, Still in TOM but I was already about 4 days in when I started injections. Today is my First VLCD day. I try to put off eating till the afternoon when I usually work out so I have energy but so far I needed to eat something so I started the routein of... am I hungry or just craving? Eat a strawberry, am I still hungry? Drink a glass of water, ok if your still hungry eat the rest of your strawberry serving. first 3 days are usually a mind field of traps and I put off working out and stuff. I braved the scale today.. I gained 6 pounds in a month of horrid eating habits and 2 days of loading, and moving stress. It was better than I expected... I expected to be up 20 pounds and to have some kind of break down when I stepped on. 6 pounds is a lot but last time I loaded I gained 6 pounds... It is completely possible I will lose that this week. And it actually gives me hope on maintaining with a decent diet when I finally reach goal.
