Greetings,
I am 24, soon to be 25 in less than a month. I have struggled with being chunky since middle school. I have tried various diets and binges. I am at an all time high of 218 pounds. I always said if I ever reach 200 its time to seriously diet. However recently my husband joined the military and then I found out I was pregnant. I lost the baby and now want to look at losing some weight (I was 211 before baby and went up to 218 during the small time I was pregnant). I had a few questions so any advice will be great (sorry if this is all jumbled). I am not into injections, heck just had to get a rhogam shot and I wanted to cry (which is odd b/c I have tattoos). I was reading up on some drops and found https://frequencyapps.com/besthcgdrops which states that it actually has HCG in the drops. Has anyone used these drops from this site? Or knows somewhere I can find the REAL drops at? Next and maybe I should have started with this, my husband and I are looking to continue trying to conceive. We both want to be parents and since this miscarriage we want it even more. Now he graduates basic next month and I am going to see him for his graduation and to take him to AIT, so in that time frame we will be trying. Has anyone done this diet before trying to conceive or during? I've read that it (this diet) can give false positives on pregnancy tests. Some women even claim its helped them to get pregnant while others state it stopped their aunt flow cycles. Also since I am going to go try to get pregnant is this a diet I can do short term then pick up again at a later time? I will NOT be dieting when pregnant, hopefully I can find the balance though and not gain a gazillion pounds. But if I do get pregnant I am still looking at this diet for after pregnancy. So I have 3 weeks before I go see hubby (and from some online orders I see it can take up to 2 weeks to get the HCG product) but if by a miracle I get it and have like 2 weeks has anyone tried it this way? Did it for a few weeks and took a break due to ie pregnancy then started again? Or maybe I should wait to start in a few months. I will be getting the book but am wondering should I wait until I know for sure if I'm starting the diet? Again any advice/help is greatly appreciated! Thanks! |

It sounds like you might be better off waiting until after you've had a baby. You should not try to get pregnant while on this diet. It does happen, but it is not recommended. If you want to put off trying to conceive for a few months, the shortest round you can do on this protocol is 26 days of phase 2 (the very low calorie diet phase), and then 3 weeks each of the two stabilization phases. You can't really cut those short because you'd just regain all the weight right away.
Perhaps you should concentrate on eating a healthy, well-balanced diet full of good fats, protein, vegetables, and nutrient dense foods to prepare your body for pregnancy. Then in a year or two, you can revisit the idea of the hcg diet. |
