What is it about sleep?
My husband wakes up at 4am to go to work, so it wakes me up, I go potty and for the fun of it I weigh myself. No change. Drink some water and go back to sleep. Wake up in the morning around 8 with my daughters, weigh myself and I lose weight. It's been like this since day 1 of VLCD (except for 3 days that stalled due to water weight that broke this morning).
So I'm really curious, what is it about sleep and waking up in the morning morning (not in the middle of the night) that causes the weightloss change? Are our bodies doing something between the magical hours of 4am and 8am that causes us to lose weight on hcg drops? |
I've always wondered this too! My husband leaves the house at 4am and I always weigh myself see no loss. By 8am I'm down 1lb! So strange!

I have done this sometimes and noticed the same. Maybe it's not between the hours of 4 and 8 but the fact that sleep is healing to your body and laying down and resting. Maybe after you have been there for awhile even waking up for a minute that so long of that works. Like being in bed 5 hours may do it or 6 or whatever. I don't know but sure know it works.
