For fish, I have always loved malt vinegar, even on some veggies.

I see nothing wrong on the ingredient list, but still need to check with those who are really in the know, as I am loading Friday and Saturday (13th and 14th) and want to plan a menu for Sunday http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums...es/biggrin.png

Thanks!
Sherri

.

Hi Sherri, I was looking for the same info tonight only for red wine vinegar. It looks like we are both in luck http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums...lies/smile.png I found this thread on here. I like red wine vinegar much better for my salad dressing. It's the 2nd post down.

The Malting process uses barley, and there is a sugar content to malt vinegar. However, I have used Tarragon Vinegar and Fish and Chips Vinegar with no issues. In fact, it's one of the things I crave...I love that vinegar taste and take it over sugar anyway.

Now if I used Braggs (apparently approved) I come to a complete stop in losses. That stuff is bad mojo for me.

In otherwords, every body is different. If you want to use it, go slow, or split the malt vinegar amount with apple cider vinegar. I made a great slaw with mustard and tarragon vinegar with spices the other day. So good. I even use in in steam cabbage dishes.

Great to marinate meats in as well.
