Default Help! Need your opinion!
Hi everyone
I desperatly need your opinion!
I am debating on starting the hcg diet again at a clinic with the injections. I have tried it before and did see results but never committed to it! My fault!
My issue is that i have a very important date coming, memorial day weekend that i want to lose at least 20 lbs but ideally the most wait i can. So i have 49 days to do it.

If i go back on it, i will definitely be committed, should i do it? The problem is, i would hate to waste $600 on it if i dont lose the weight!
That is the cost for it at the clinic in NJ.
Here are my stats:

35 years old, female, 168lbs, 5'4

My question is should i try to do the hgc or should i just go on the low calorie diet, same on the menu for the hcg diet and just work out alot?
I already get prescribed Tenuate fir appetite suppressant so i wont be too hungry. Do you think that will work?
Please let me know your thoughts! I need to lose the weight by that time ( at least temporarily)!!!

md - I think the decision is yours - hcg surely works - if you work it. 49 days is one full round - would put you a week into P3....if you are going to pay that much - I would surely make sure you were committed to sticking with theplan. Your "event" is it one that you would be able to deal with on P3? does your life accommodate P2 for the next 40 days? I would say go for it....but only if you know you can reall stick to it - its a waste of time and money if you don't. Good luck!!

I read that if you would go on a 500 cal diet without hcg your body would go into starvation mode and you wouldn't lose the weight and really screw up your metabolism (which I have done with years of yo yo dieting)??? Maybe ask Grammy - instead of spending the $$$ for the clinic y not just order the injections yourself??

MDL1105---I feel your frustrations. HCG is a life style change not a diet. You have to be prepared to give up the foods you love. You need to be emotionally prepared not to eat just because that what you did in the past, Eat only when you are hungry. If you are ready then the 600.00 will be worth it. I cheated my second round and gave up after a week; I was still in love with the thought of food. I struggle every day with that part. Use forum for guidance. I have read the book --Weight- Loss Apocalypse , awesome book. Info about the book is also on another Thread, If you have the right frame of mind I say GO FOR IT! Good luck..
