Default Is there a list of types of herbal teas allowed, or not allowed?
Hello,
We are allowed to have herbal tea, does that include all types, including mint? I'm concerned because mint toothpaste is an issue so what about the tea? Are there any other tea flavors we should avoid?

Thank you!

I dont know if they are allowed or not.. but since I started I have been drinking pretty much nothing but tea..Mint, Chai, herbal berry .. and Pu- erh tea that is infused with chocolate.. and I never changed my toothpaste. lip balm or anything else while on this.. still lost 30 lbs in 5 weeks.
I use flavored Stevia in all of my tea.. especially in my mint tea( wal-mart , blue box) and its really good.. makes the water more palatable.

Thanks Tulip,
I have not changed my toothpaste either and I have been drinking a ton of tea. I have been losing (20lbs in 24 days) but I also wonder if I am slowing it because some of the things I am doing or did not change. Its working well, but I have a long way to go and of course want it to work as well and as fast as possible. Where are you buying the flavored Stevia and Pu-erh tea, that sounds wonderful.

Congrads on your success!

Amazon for the Puer- er tea and flavored Stevia..and to be honest.... 20 lbs in 24 days is awesome... you cant go by what others lose.. and your 20 lbs is a good success. I think from reading all of these posts and pretty much all of the site..I think the difference in losing if you change your lipbalm or shampoo is minimal..I wont change it. I cant.. I cant afford all of those new things to get here and there..
and sometimes fast isnt the wya to go.. your body needs adjusting to the better diet and your skin needs time to get back into where it was before.. i know mine is a bit ..jiggly . .still..;p

I am about to start round 2.. I am hoping to lose at least 25 this round...

Forgot to add.. if you are slowing down.. and not sure how much you are slowing down.. I know 1/2 lbs a day is a good loss.. .So if you are a 1/2 a day of loss. .you still in good shape

Any tea or coffee is allowed. It's milk and sugar that aren't. Some teas like green tea are more detoxing and can help you lose also. I would try different tea and see what you like.

You are doing awesome! Keep up the good work.

Thank you for the responses, this is so much easier to do when you have all this support and guidance.

Tulip,
I agree, changing everything, even for 30 days is a lot of work and money and I did not do it and still lost 30#. I wish you the best of luck on R2, I hope it is going very well!
