Default How much weight can I realistically expect to lose on a 43 day round?
Hi,

I'm just curious as to how many pounds I can realistically expect to lose. I'm around 149-150, 5'7.... I see that other people are losing around a pound a day!!! Does your starting weight have an effect on how much you can lose within a certain period of time?

I'm sorry if this comes across as an ignorant question!!! =O

Thank you!!

Women average about 0.5 pounds a day. However, it all depends on how much you have to lose.
I'm 5'10 & lost 32 pounds on my first round. But, I had over 70 lbs to lose at that point.

The way hcg works is you will only lose the "abnormal fat stores"... I don't know how much you'll be able to expect to lose, since your body make-up is really what will push that. Looks like your BMI is already in the "normal" range? At the high end, though, so you may be able to shed 10-20 pounds on a long round?
Really, you just have to listen to your body. It will definitely let you know when the hcg stops having fat to process!

Everyone's loss rate is different, but those who lose a pound a day are either exceptionally lucky or have more to lose. The less you weigh, the less you lose per round. As snapshotstacy said, losses end up averaging 0.5 daily - mine have been about 0.4. If I had to guess, I'd say anywhere between 15-20 pounds given your current weight. It could always be more or less, though. Just a word of advice - it's easy to get frustrated at stalls and/or slow losses, but just try to keep in mind that at the end of the round, you'll have lost all that weight in a little over a month. Those results are way better than any other diet, and as long as you continue to stick to protocol, you'll keep it off!

I would say realistically 1/2 lb. a day and then if you are really good and your body allows you to lose well you could add a couple of extra pounds of loss for you. Set your goals reasonable so you can achieve them or surpass them.

Good luck!
