Default Ovary pain..
Hi..I'm on Phase 2 week 2 and I've noticed that once in a while I get a throbbing pain in my left ovary. It will go on for hours and then stop for couple of days and start up again. Could this be from the HCG?

Paula, do you have PCOS? A side effect of HCG is Ovarian Hyperstimulation. I would suggest you schedule an appointment with your doctor just to be on the safe side.

I don't have PCOS.. I had mild OHSS when I did fertility treatments, but never had ovary pain along with it. I am somewhat bloated but not that bad. I think the bloat is cause I haven't gone to the bathroom since last wednesday.

Do you have fibroids? You honestly should go see your GYN and tell her what you are taking.

Also, you may want to do an enema or something for the not going to the bathroom. That's not good.

Constipation can feel like ovary pain. Been down the infertility path and am familiar with ovary pain. However, I don't have ovaries anymore but when constipated I can get twinges and longer lasting pain that feels like my ovaryies are still there. Google ovaries and intestines and you'll see what close neighbors they are.

Good luck. Hope everything comes out alright.:-)

Thanks. I'm drinking some metamucil today and hopefully that will get things moving. I also have an appt. with my GYN for yearly check up on the 23rd. I will bring it up to her then, the pain has gone away so hopefully it will stay away.

Also could be a cyst from a failed ovulation, very common in women of childbearing age..usually goes away in 2-3 cycles, they can twist and cause pain, also lower back pain etc. I have one as we speak and they suck!

If I get my ToM. I stay in bed for the first 3 days anyway..I cant function with these cramps.. and the older I get the worse they become..

But when i ride my horse and I do a lot of cantering.. I can surely feel em later that day or the next day...
