I just got my period after being in menopause for 15 months. Losing my hair in large quanities, just got my period. Pretty freaked out. Im stopping the diet, I feel like I'm risking my health and life just to lose weight. This is crazy! So worried!!

What are you on? If they are drops, check to make sure they are real ones and actually have hcg in them.

Thank you for your reply. They are HCG shots from AllDayChemist. I love thsi diet, but I am really worried about this. You obviously are an expect on this diet, what are your thoughts on this hair loss and now a period out of the blue after 15 months?

It's not uncommon. Try adding some biotin. That usually helps with the hair loss. And you could sub out one fruit for 100 calories of extra protein. That is likely to help as well. HCG can elevate your hormones a bit and when you're in menopause anyway you can have a period out of the blue even after 15 months. It's nothing to worry about. It's not going to harm you.

Thank you for your quick replies. I love this diet, I only have a week and a half left, I'm just worried.

it's just a shift in your hormones. Really to me would make me giddy because I know the hcg is doing something.

My daughter-in-law has had an IUD for several years. She never has a period. Within 2 weeks of starting each round of hcg, and she's on homeopathic drops, she gets a period.
