Bottom of breast bone/sternum/xiphoid process protruding in a big bad way
I have lost over 120 pounds in ~53 weeks (2 rounds hCG and a bunch lost on my own), and I find the xiphoid process now sticks out...like a lot. It is especially prominent when I am lying down.

I too noticed this when my weight loss really became apparant. The good news is most of this consists of cartilage and is quite malleable. It is protruding due to the fat layers that were beneath it and was previously pushing it outward... Now that I am down 70 pounds and all that fat that was beneath my sternum and surrounding my heart is gone, it is slowly changing and flattening out like it was when I was young and thin. It's all a process. Be patient with your body. It all just takes time.

I am having the same problem. And in addition to my sternum, my ribs are sticking way out. I figured it would change at some point.

Ya know I am thinking I just got done with a short stint in a theatrical show. One of my costumes was a tight corset that laced up. I wonder if that didn't help to put it back into position...
