Default Stevia and Green Tea Questions
I'm new to the forum and new to the HCG diet as well. I'm on Phase 2.

I purchased Stevia *in the raw*, thinking this was the allowed sugar substitute. I've read a few places that this may not be the case. I would like to get some clarification on that. What exactlyare we not allowed to have in our sugar substitutes.

Also, I purchased Liption's Green Tea with citruis flavor. I haven't had any yet, because now I'm concerned that it has too much sugar in it, 13 grams a serving. I don't really like making Tea bags thats why I wanted to purchase some pre-made Green Tea. Does anybody have any suggestions on what is allowed?

I've used Stevia in the Raw for both rounds that I have done with no ill effects. I've lost 50 pounds total. I'd like some info myself though about it.

also, I'm not a real cold tea person myself but I buy bottled tea brand 'Tejava'. It is unsweetened tea and the ingredients are tea leaves and water. Plus the taste is really good.

Good luck.

I've used Stevia Extract from Trader Joes and Yerba Mate tea, as well as other green teas free of sugar on both rounds and have also lost 50 whopping pounds so far. If I were you, I'd buy green tea FREE of sugar. Run from sugar. Just run.

Well I'm only one Day 2 of Phase 2. I used Stevia in the Raw on the first day with my coffee and strawberries, and I had a weight loss of five pounds this morning. So far it looks like I'll be okay with this brand of Stevia. I guess If I hit a wall I can always try switching it.

I wasn't thinking right about the Green Tea when I bought it. I defiently will go for the sugar free Green Tea now. Just got to find a pre-brewed brand that is sugar free. That probably won't be too hard to do.

Also, another question I have is about the serving size of the melba toast and Grissni breadsticks we are allowed to have. It says that you can have one melba toast or one Grissni breadstick for each lunch and dinner. Do they really just mean 1, or do they mean 1 servings size? I've been sticking to the just 1 though.

I cant stand water.. by itself..
I use teabags and Stevia or Truvia in my water bottle..
I got a larger one (BPA free) pour 2 bottles of water in it.. one pack of Stevia or Truvia and 2 teabags.. organic green or peppermint or apple cider tea.. did not keep me from losing weight..but liek said above.. everyone is different.. but the stevia or truvia should not make a difference..
