What to do!?!
Hello all,
I am on R2P2 Day 10 down 12lbs - doing well , no hunger, etc. I have a big dinner tomorrow night and I'd like to have a steak and a beer or 2. Some peps have successfully glasses of wine so I've ready but I am not a huge Wine drinker. Any thoughts on beer or cocktails? |
I would check out carb levels of various brands (Mich Ultra and Beck's Light something or other (I forget)) come to mind.
I have done the "eat nothing all day and have a steak for dinner at a restaurant" twice. It turned out ok. But I didn't drink alcohol with it. Too scared of how it would react. I felt pretty good about how the protein would react, but alcohol sugars were just too iffy. Is drinking REALLY that important for one night? |
Of all the alcohols, beer is likely the worst for gains in P2.
