I am on vlcd 1. I do IM injections. Is it normal to be a little hungry the first couple days? Everytime I feel hungry I drink a cup of water and it seems to help. Encouragement please!

Hey there, I am on day 6 and I can tell you that I was definitely hungry the first 2-3 days. I actually bumped up my dosage at my first weigh in. So yes I think some people do feel hungry. Everyone is a little different. I found that hot tea helped numb the hunger pangs. Try that.

Also you could try spreading out your food. Like have your fruit for breakfast, breadstick for snack, etc. Doing this has helped me a lot.

if you have the right dose, you should not have hunger, it took me a week the first time to get my dose right. On my second round, no hunger from day 1, completely different from my first round. Also, if you load right that should help as well. On my first round I didn't load correctly and the first week was miserable for me, but second time around i knew better and it definitely helped. and water is a huge help as well.

You should not be hungry if you have the right dose. The first day you might have some mild hunger in the evening but that should be all. What are you taking?
