I took my first shot today! It didn't hurt at all. I closed my eyes while I did it! Lol
This is my first time ever doing hcg. I had full fat Greek yogurt for breakfast...yum! Trying to figure out what to eat that is good and fatty without making myself sick. I guess I'll have a burger and fries for lunch and avocados with something at dinner. My husband was funny.i woke up and the first thing he said to me was, "wanna have some ice cream?". Lol. He is funny. Anyone else starting today? How are you feeling about it? I'm scared that when I start the vlcd, I am going to feel sick. I guess I wont know for sure until I get to that day. |

Hi Melliz,
I started on Tuesday, so I am just 3 days ahead of you. But I am doing sublingual with Corion. Actually I didn't have appetite on loading days and now I regret it because today on VLCD I am hungry, not very much but still... I also felt a little bit nauseated on loading days but this feeling fortunately went away. Hope you are doing OK! matali |

Hi Melliz, I don't have a super big appetite today, but I don't want to skimp so I'm trying! I am feeling pretty good. Have you been weighing yourself each morning? So, today is your first vlcd day? I am guessing the first week of VLCD will be hard, but I'm bracing for it! ![]() |

I am on my first vlcd today . I loaded on Wed and Thurs. I am doing sublingual rx. So far I am not hungry. The hcg suppressed my appetite so much that I didn't enjoy loading as much as I thought I would. I am seeing mixed opinions about broccoli. Is is allowed on P2? If not I already did something bad today by eating it. Some lists have it and some don't.

If not I already did something bad today by eating it. Some lists have it and some don't. My doctor has broccoli as allowed, but I didn't see it on Dr. Simeon's list. I don't know what I'll do about broccoli, but I do know that it is a bit higher in carbs than some other vegetables. Maybe that's why Dr. Simeon doesn't have it on his approved list? Or, maybe I'm completely wrong and it is allowed! |

Hi Ladies,
I started my VLCD1 today. So far so good, coffee is holding me up. Hopefully i dont attack the cafeteria at lunch. I started this diet in january and did so well for a week and a half and then got sick and had to get off for a week. So now i am back and hopefully this time i can keep on track. |

I sucked at loading tbh. I ate a ton of peanut butter and nutella and some of my favorite fatty foods. (although they were tough to stomach) The second day I did better, I decided cream cheese has a lot of fat per tbsp and pretty much ate a whole tub of it. I was down the first day and back up the second just started the vlcd today. (i sleep weird hours so I just count my days when I wake up and when I go to sleep) Thanks for the group I am going to look into it. Is it pretty active?

Oh my, I do not know how to use this forum. I have never posted on a forum before. I did not realize anyone had replied to me. Somehow I seem to have posted on a different thread just now. Thanks for connecting Melliz. I have been kind of hungry. I am experimenting with my dosage trying to get it just right.

*giddy* I managed to lose the whole loading gain on my first VLCD! And, another 2 yesterday.
Here we go - VLCD day 3 for me! LOL I had a bit of a headache yesterday, but I'm fairly certain that it's allergies... Our weather totally can't make up it's mind. This past week, it was up in the 60's and today there was 3 inches of snow on my car. And we've had this warm / freeze / warm / freeze cycle going on for a couple of months now... which makes pollen & mold - both of which I'm allergic to. *sigh* How's everyone doing on your first few VLC days? Hope you have a good day, ladies!! |

Hello Ladies! I hope I can join along too! I started 2/11 and am now on VLCD3. I see several of you are around my same weight and have approximately the same goal in mind. I'm 5'4", 165 - well now actually 160.2 and I am hoping to be 135-130ish when I'm done with my first round. I initially was doing the 23 days to see where I was at weight wise and if I'm not where I want to be I will do the full 40 days. I'm just tired of the weight and refuse to spend another summer not fitting into all my cute clothes! My weight has always been all over the place. Growing up I was a twig. I graduated high school weighing 100 pounds wet. My weight crept up to prob 125/130 after a couple of years and then I had a very stressful job and couldn't keep weight on no matter how much I ate - I was 80 pounds and quit that job without another one because of the effects it was having on my health. I got pregnant at the age of 35 - weighing 125 pounds - during the pregnancy, I gained a lot of weight - I stopped getting on the scale when it hit 200 pounds. I had pre-eclampsia, so a lot of it was water - which I did pee away 40 pounds of it in 2 weeks after the birth of my daughter. Within 6 months of her birth, I was down to 115 pounds - 10 pounds under where I got pregnant at.... now 5 years later, a divorce, a move out of state, and another wonderfully stressful job (sarcasm) I'm up to 165! The stress is now having the opposite effect on me! I have to do something. I'm embarassed to take my daughter swimming or go to the park because I'm embarassed about what I look like. Its so sad. This HCG is my last resort. I've tried everything else. I'm not overly excited about the 5 pounds lost so far because I've lost those same 5 pounds now about 50 times in the past 2 years. I did manage to get down to 150 last spring, but I was eating no food - starving myself basically but not on purpose - work was just super busy and stressful. Not to mention I am a full time mom - no help. My word for 2012 is CHANGE. And that's exactly what I intend to do. I'm looking forward to interacting with others on this same path.
Now... what are you all eating??? I'm flipping between chicken and a veggie and then the P2chili. This weekend I intend to cook more and freeze so I have some more options.... but I don't mind what I'm eating now. I like to season things - so I don't miss all the dippings and dressing. Was Vday hard for anyone else to get thru with NO chocolate???? Ugh... I just had to donate MORE chocolate I received to the front desk. Let everyone else have it! I don't need it! I want it, but I don't NEED it!!! |
