Default No bacteriostatic water! What do we do?!
We are on VLCD 8 and this is Round 2 for DH and Round 4 for me. We've been doing great and don't want to lose momentum. Just read a post in which someone on Dec. 5 discovered that Hospira, the company that makes the bac water most of us buy for our injections, is out of stock. Just checked their site and it's still out of stock. Our problem is that we used the rest of our bac water for this round and because I had ordered from evotrition.com on December 23, I had planned on having another bottle from which to mix our second bottle of hCG long before we ran out. But now, we've only got another four days or so of injections and then we'll be out. Does anyone have an idea what we can do?

I've spoken with my doctor but he won't prescribe bac water for us because hCG is officially illegal in the US and he can't do it due to his license. We have ordered again tonight from missourimedicalsupplies.com as well on the hopes that they are not out of stock. Evotrition.com has been absolutely awful about responding to my 17 phone messages and three emails. Absolutely NO response from them. I keep calling but nothing. I'm assuming that they are also out of stock and that is why my order is still processing.

Any ideas you could give us would be greatly appreciated!!

Did you check Amazon? They sometimes have it. HCG isn't illegal in the u.s. Any doctor can prescribe it. Not sure why your doctor thinks he can't. It's used commonly for fertility.

What he actually said was that it was illegal to prescribe it for anything other than fertility. As he knows that I'm using it for weight loss, he says that's the problem. He also said that doctors, at least in Oregon, cannot prescribe bac water as it is a controlled substance. Apparently when you order from a website, they are getting their bac water from outside of the country and therefore are not under the same set of rules the FDA applies to U.S. drugs. I'm pretty confused because from what it looks like the sites that are offering it [bac water] are indeed U.S.-based. He's always been a good doctor so I don't have any reason to believe that he's lying. I think he's trying to protect the integrity of his license.

IS there anything that can be used instead of bac water? I've searched the forums and some people say sodium chloride but that seems to be only for sublingual. What would YOU do if you were doing injections and didn't have enough to finish the round?

Thanks in advance!

There have been a couple of people on here outside the U.S. and they simply couldn't get bac water there at all. I had them mix with sodium chloride then pull their shots into syringes and pull up extra air then freeze them. It's not the best but others on here have frozen their shots and claim it's fine. So that was the best we could do. Did you check on Amazon?

I just looked. Amazon DOES have it. They ship very quickly plus you could pay for extra fast shipping. http://www.amazon.com/Bottles-Bacter...6339325&sr=8-8

Hi,

I am experiencing the same problem getting my water from Evotrition. I placed my order on December 27th and have not received it, all it says is that it's processing. If they are out of stock they need to plainly put that on their order screen so we can go somewhere else. I sent them a email, and called them twice so far and no response. The second message I told them I wanted to cancel my order due to their poor customer service. I need to go online and see if they money has been removed from my account. What a pain. So I found Missouri Medical Supply today just like you. I live about a hour from their location so I am hoping it gets her asap. I placed it around 4 and when I looked a bit ago I had received a email from them saying it shipped at 4:35 this afternoon! I wanted to begin my injections on Saturday! I had text messaged them and asked if there was anyway it could be here by Friday, they returned my call saying they could send it priority mail but it still would probably be Saturday or Monday. ugggggg!!! Hard to believe that the HCG from India was here in less than a week but something from Colorado still isn't here after 12 days. So my advice....if you need water, try Missouri Medical Supply! Go Missouri!

It's truly incredible, isn't it? I have called 17 times, leaving angrier and more frustrated messages each time! I've also sent two emails. Usually when you buy something online, you don't get charged until it gets shipped or at least the processing is done. My money has already been withdrawn. I went ahead and ordered from Missouri Medical as well. Within a couple of hours, I received that same email! So, obviously MMS is NOT out of stock on bac water. I think we only have enough hCG left for tomorrow and probably Saturday. Not sure about Sunday and most definitely not Monday. I'm really, REALLY hoping it arrives tomorrow, Saturday at the latest!!

Best of luck to you!

Thanks so very much, Colleen!! I really appreciate your advice and comments as well as your links to the various sites. No, I didn't go through Amazon. Not sure why. I ended up using Missouri Medical Supplies and they have already shipped the bac H2O. The only sodium chloride I found was in Wound Wash and since it's in spray form and not very antiseptic from that, I wasn't sure I could do that.

Could you answer one more thing for me? If we have to do a "planned interruption" due to this, do we just go without hCG for three days as if we are at the end of our round and then just re-start our shots as soon as we can? How many days can we go without hCG before we have to start all over again?

Thank you!
