I found them in my local organic grocery store. They are in the refrigerated section.

They sell these at my locally-owned health food store. I've never bought them, but actually thought about it yesterday. I'm on P2 and decided to wait to P3 to try them, even though they might be ok in P2 because they are fat free and sugar free........ I'm going to wait, though, just in case.

House Foods sells both the white yam and tofu shirataki noodles in a lot of grocery stores. The former is the same thing as the Miracle Noodles and are good for any phase; the tofu ones might be a better taste/texture option P3 onward.

Miracle noodles? Wow I never heard of them. Someone mentioned Udon noodles. but I don't know if they are allowed or not. Anyone know off the top of thier head?

I bought two pkgs in early June, prior to P2, and still haven't tried them.

I have found the TOFU kind (not Miracle Noodles brand, but still Shirataki noodles found in ref rig cabinet next to tofu), but have not been able to find the no-calorie kind anywhere but online. I found them at Whole Foods, Vitamin Cottage, and Sunflower's Farmers Market stores.

I tried a package once - made two servings of chicken in terrimocky (see Bragg's Liquid Amino's recipe) sauce, and asparagus stir fry. I had them two days in a row and it seemed to stall my progress. I experienced this the one time I tried a meatball recipe with milk in it. I might have experienced a sensitivity to soy and milk. This is one of those things that sue people experience that I found information about somewhere on this forum. I'll probably order the non-soy brand from online (Miracle Noodles) before I start round 2 with my hubby - they will be a really nice addition.

I also tried the "radish rice" recipe by peeling 2 cups of radishes and boiling them for ~8 minutes, then mash. I'll buy a ricer tool and use this as a "rice" base for stir fry. It was so tasty with just a very light seasoning mix on top of them and it makes a huge bowl. I even "forgot" to have my protein for lunch with them - had to add a protein shake with my orange after dinner to make up for it! =)

http://www.asianfoodgrocer.com/produ...rataki-noodles is the cheapest place I have found to date. Shipping over $25 is SUPER cheap. Since these can last in a drawer or refrigerated in the unopened bag for a year, I ordered a bunch.

Another place that sells the non-tofu kind at great prices is HMart if there is one near by you. They have a couple different brands at really cheap prices since they are somewhat of a local rather than specialty food there.
