Default Stall, set-point, low body fat, or is my body just done??
Hi All,

I'd appreciate anything you've got on this one! This is R3 for me. R1 was last April, lost 20 lbs (LDW 152.3), R2 started 5 wks and 3 days after conclusion of R1...needless to say it did not go well! I lost 8 lbs during the 30 days, only to gain 5 lbs back my first day of P3! I was starving during the entire round, even after adjusting the dose. I am fairly certain my drops went bad; regardless, I struggled with stabilizing and more high protein days than any human should have! I gained 6 lbs during the holidays...so after all is said and done, R3 is here! Now, I am struggling to find out my issue...set-point? Stall? Done?

hhcg 10 drops/3x per day, no hunger at all;menu: coffee in the am (ff milk, splenda), apple at 10 am, chicken and spinach at 1pm, same at 6pm, apple at 7:30pm, 124-148 oz of water per day. I lose best with chicken and have never stalled like this, oranges make me stall, as does the slightest bit of sodium. I have also tried replacing one fruit with a protein. No change in the stall.

Start weight 1/7/12: 160.5
normal losses until:
1/22/12: 150.8
1/23: 150.7
1/24: 150.7
1/25: 150.4
1/26: 149.8
1/27: 149.8
1/28: 149.0
1/29: 149.2
1/30: 149.6
1/31:149.6
2/1: 149.7
2/2: 148.7
2/3: 149.6
2/4: 148.4
2/5: 148.0
2/6: 149.0
2/7: 149.3

Soooo...ideas? I am only 5'2, large frame (per the Dr, not the voice in my head!), current body fat 24%, size 6. I know I do not have 30 lbs to lose based on my body composition, but I am certain there is still "abnormal" fat based on my lower half measurements of 38 in at my rear! Any advice is appreciated! Thank you in advance!

can you drop the fruit? Too much glucose for some. If you can't drop both stop the evening one

FIRST and foremost: Listen to Grammy (her post is bleow)

In no way am I an expert because I only know what works for my own body
For example": I lose best with beef.

Here are the changes that I would make:

1) . . change the splenda to stevia.
If that's not possible, limit my splenda intake.
Splenda has been shown to inhibit the growth of the good bacteria in our gut.
(I use Sweet Leaf Liquid Stevia which I get at the store Wild By Nature on LI in NY.
I use liquid because the packet/powder tastes wierd to me.)

2) . . add:
FIRST thing in the morning, before anything else goes into my mouth
(except a toothbrush)
~drink:
8 oz hot water in a coffee cup
the juice of 1 freshly squeezed lemon
a pinch of cayenne red pepper (and keep making the pinch bigger each day)
sweetener to taste

***Give your tummy time inbetween this liver cleansing drink and your milked coffee, or the milk will curdle in your tummy***

3) . . cut-out the milk entirely from my coffee.
(I absolutely love cream in my coffee, but milk doesn't cut it for me while on protocol.
So I drink my coffee/tea black while on protocol.)

4) . . change one of the apples to half a grapefruit.
And eat all fruit before noon if possible.

5) . . 3 days a week I eat 4 ounces of 2% cottage cheese in place of chicken/beef/fish.
It works for MY body, but may not work for yours, so this I would only try if I was so TIRED of chicken that I was thinking of just skipping the protein entirely.

I hope some of this might help.

You're eating too frequently to give your insulin time to drop and stay down. The protocol says to eat 2 meals. You can have something for one of those meals for breakfast but I wouldn't be eating dividing up the food the way you are and eating fruit that soon before bed is a sure problem. It's best to eat any carbs earlier in the day. Try that for a few days and see how you do. and make sure your drops contain hcg. So many of the drops are fake right now.

Thank you for your tips!

I have tried dropping one fruit, but that didn't seem to change anything one way or the other. But I will see what changes I can make about the timing.

Cottage cheese has too much sodium for me But I am happy you get to enjoy it!

I will try to move my food around for a few days Grammy, and see what the results are. I generally do not have enough room in my tummy to eat the fruit with the meal. Do you recommend replacing it, or substituting it? I will definately stop the night-time apple snack. My drops contain hcg (3x, 6x, 12x) and are the same brand used in R1, so I am comfortable there.

Thank you for your tips! I am surprised the difference in my body during these subsequent rounds, and getting a bit frustrated at "waiting out the stall", but I know I can keep going!

If you don't eat the fruit, I would replace at least one of the fruits with more protein. Glad the drops are good! Shew!
