Default I lose my mind on VLCD, will HCG be different?
I went on the almost the exact same diet as this one, but no HCG of course, Food Addict Anonymous, Dr. B's, Dr. Cohen's etc...very similar. When I went thru the second/third week I was insane, jealous, depressed, I could not control it, I knew it was because of the withdrawals, didn't matter, I was horrible, I have never made it past that, will this time possibly be different due to the shots? Will it change the withdrawal symptoms somewhat?

Thank you,
Skye

Several times each year I do a day-long fast for religious reasons. It drives me crazy, too: I'm irritable, moody, I obsess about food... I have experienced none of that on hCG. I could not do a VLCD without hCG. It's like night and day, seriously!

Honestly, for all I know it's just a placebo effect, but I really am not hungry, per se. I am not hungry at all before 1 pm, and I notice that most of the time I have a sort of hollow feeling, but it's not like hunger. It's actually a nice feeling, sort of like what I imagine a flat stomach feeling like! Occasionally, my stomach growls, but I am not hungry when it does that. My worst times are after 9 pm, because I am a habitual hand-to-mouth snacker out of boredom. But for some reason (the HCG ?), I am not having those cravings. Like, I have a huge bowl of M&M's in the kitchen from Christmas, and I haven't even wanted one; there is a bag of Lay's and half a container of onion dip in the frig, but I am not tempted for that, either. It's like I KNOW how good they will taste, and I want to taste them, but I don't want to EAT them. It's weird.

I have had no mood or personality changes at all.
