Default hCG beyond 34 poounds
hi, i'm on my first round of hCG and have lost about 34 pounds. i was planning on doing hCG for 40 days and i'm on day 32. i read somewhere that hCG should be stopped after 40 days or unless 34 pounds is reached.

is it ok for me to continure on hCG for the full 40 days? when i started i was about 70 to 80 pounds overweight. thanks in advance for any help.

No you should stop now. Your skin needs time to catch up. If you were morbidly obese, the dr allowed you to go to 40 pounds but you are not so it's time to stop. You did great!

thanks again Colleen i was kinda on the fence about continueing, and you made a great point, so i'm stopping. yea, i was suprised how good this worked, i hope the second round goes as well.

by the way, to be on protocol, i know you shouldn't eat more, but is it ok to eat less? sometimes i may not eat 1 or both of my fruits, just don't feel like it as i'm content. is that ok?

Thanks for starting this thread!! I was wondering the same myself. I am going on a long round, more like 47 days, because that's when my drop will run out and I don't want to waste. I'm aiming for 45lbs lost though, and then taking a 6 week break before going for round 2. Hopefully this won't mess me up, I would hate to have skin issues!

Unless you weigh over 100 pounds, I would never go over 34 pounds and even for morbidly obese, the limit is 40 pounds. Unless you want to have to have a body lift.

sebas, it's okay to skip a fruit once in a while but it if you do it a lot, I'd eat more protein to compensate.

I am in the morbid obesity category, I have about 100 more pounds to lose (even counting my current losses) before I touch the very top of the "normal" bmi category. Do you think losing the extra 5 (45 total) would be that bad for me? I am relatively young (28) and have good skin. This will be my longest round, but since it's the first I wanted to take it as far a I could, and sort of trying to blast through some previous 'settling' weights. Thanks for the info!!
