Spotting (TMI)

First let me apologize to those that consider this TMI but I don't know who else to ask!

I normally take my birth control pills straight through for 3 months at a time and only have TOM 4 times a year. My dr has prescribed it this way due to the severe side effects I used to get from TOM.

This is my second round on drops and I spot every day. When I finished my last round in October and then had TOM the spotting stopped at the end of my cycle.

I am trying to figure out if I stop taking my pills and get my cycle now if once it's over I will continue to spot as long as I continue the drops??

Has anyone experienced anything similiar??

Thank you!

I'm guessing it's the Hcg. That happened to me as well...on Seasonique (so I skipped periods). Actually, I haven't had an actual period in years due to BC (and I'm only 28). After my first round, I got the Mirena IUD without any spotting issues. Now that I'm in my second round, the spotting has begun. I pretty much spotted the entire first round and blamed it on my BC, but now I'm pretty sure it's the Hcg. The weight loss is worth it though!

it's definitely worth it! I think it happens more with us since we dont have our period monthly. im trying to figure out if I have my period this week if the spotting will stop even if I continue the drops????

thanks for your post!
