Hey everyone!
I am on day 5 and down 8 pounds! Woohoo... only 31 more to go ![]() I am taking the HCG injections from my doc. I am starting to believe this hormone actually works... although I hate to admit, a small part of me is still questioning if its just placebo and the 500 calories a day alone that are in play here. Really I don't care, since with a conventional diet I could barely lose 8 pounds in a month. So I have been following the protocol fairly well... but with a few adaptations... Firstly, i eat 3 egg whites for breakfast.. and for lunch and dinner I increase my protein (chicken breast) by .5oz. I also will have more than just one variety of veggie with a meal... maybe 2 or 3. I also will use maybe a teaspoon of rice vinegar, or other fat free condiments. I used a small amount of lotion on my hands because they are so darn dry. Has anyone else done little things like this and still been successful??? Or am I going to pay in the end???? i guess if I stall out I will straighten up. TGIF!!!!! |

This is my 3rd round. My thoughts are that you may be able to lose during P2 with the occasional cheats, but you might not stabilize as well. I think that every person is different. I'm one of those people the follows the protocol perfectly with one major flaw- I have diet coke occasionally. As far as lotion, my hands sometimes crack and bleed- but I'm too scared to use lotion and cause a stall or mess with stabilization. Good luck on your journey.

Ok... I am gonna try and just limit myself to one variety of veggie and also stick with the 3.5oz protein. I can't go without the egg whites in the am though... I am so darn hungry in the am and i am very active. Right after breakfast I have to go take care of my horses!!! Shovel poop, feed, etc. It's a workout LOL!!!!
Can I use oil free lotion? I am gonna go later and see if I can fine some. Otherwise I will turn into a skinny lady with wrinkles!!! |
