Hi all!
I began hhCG drops (3x10 daily) on 10/17 My beginning weight (pre-load) was 173.4 I am 27 yrs old, female, 5'3" After two days of load, my weight was 177.4 For the following 6 days, I had no trouble eating 500 cals with very few hunger pains and those were easily satisfied with a protocol meal. I was down to 167.2 On 10/26 I had extreme hunger all.day.long and finally caved after a protocol meal and ate a slice of pizza. (not a good choice, I know) The following day I had a 2 pound gain and continued to feel hungry all day. I upped my dose to 3x11 and seemed to feel better but not best. Next day - I had a .6 pound gain (even following protocol the day before) and hunger was insane. I ate off-protocol all day. And LOST .6 the next day??? Still hungry, I added in a few more drops (first two drops were 11, I did 15 drops in the evening) but continued to eat non-protocol. I gained 2.2 I threw my hands in the air and haven't dosed since 10/29 mid-day My speculation (and I'm no medical-field professional) is that my body didn't respond to the hhCG drops as it should have - just based on my personal history. I had a miscarriage at age 21. Followed by a premature birth at age 23. And my last pregnancy was carried past-term with the assistance of hormone therapy at age 25. If I'm understanding hhCG correctly (please, correct me if I'm wrong), it works by stimulating your body to produce hCG. If my body is not efficient at this production (based on my fertility history) - would I do best on injections? So I KNOW the right amount of hCG is in my system? Also - if I plan to quit the drops - do I continue them to the minimum 23 days (even though I have uncontrollable cravings and hunger and continue to gain) while I wait for the Rx hCG to arrive? Thanks in advance for your experience and wisdom! I just don't want to mess this up! ![]() |

Another would be better to answer this, but I am not under the impression that this is to stimulate the production of hCG in your body, but to insert it there with top hat askew and ready to help you accept eating so little. If the drops are not working I would not continue them. |

I'm definitely not an expert, but I heard that if a person is to eat off of protocol while having the drops in their system, they will gain... I think the drops need to be out of your system for a couple of days before your body is back to "normal". I'd ask Grammy in her category of this forum. Or any of the other moderators, they're amazing
