Default Road Trip - What to eat?
I'm going on a six hour road trip to visit family. The road trip as well as the eating with family isn't going to be easy. Just wondering if anyone has suggestions on what to bring or some fast food options. I was wondering if I could do the low carb burger at Hardees if I just had the patty and lettuce. Would that be okay? I'm planning on bringing my scale too. Any other ideas? I have apples, oranges, strawberries, melba toast, canned chicken, and that's about it for now. I'm not a big veggie person, so that won't be easy unless I eat salads...bleck!

If you can, you may want to boil some chicken of your own. You wanna watch the sodium in the canned chicken, it may stall you.

You can bring celery sticks; cucumber slices, shredded cabbage in a zip lock sandwich bag and just pour your own salad dresssing or a squeeze of lemon, pepper and a pinch of salt, toss and eat it out of the bag; bottled water; boiled eggs.

So you can have a hard boiled egg? I thought I read somewhere you couldn't. The chicken is in water. Do you just reheat it in the microwave or something. Can you tell I don't cook and picky?

What about the Hardee's burger?
