Its time to throw in the towel
I simply cannot go any further i can feel it in my self that today I need to just move forward with making yesterday my LID/LIW (10/09/11-141 pnds), so i disposed of the 3 prefilled injections i had left...I am not able to focus nor stick to protocol as I had wished not gaining but not losing (basically eating more calories to satisfy my hunger) I am wondering if also i am not losing because really not much left to lose my goal is 135 im staying between 140-141 and not budging from that no matter what not able to adjust anymore or skip because really not enough hcg left to do that or time so yes I am now officially throwing in the towel and hoping that I did enough days to stabilizing well in p3...i am happy to report that I am wearing all my pre-weight gain clothes (doing the happy dance - sizes 4-8) but my true size is apx a 4-6...the main blessing is, i feel healthy again...........will post before and after pictures later ... i am hoping that i wont need to do any more rounds and that i can rid of the rest if needed sometime down the road with some healthy eating and exercise...While I did not lose a lot of weight I have lost inches and best of all, i have learned a great deal of discipline in this round so i gotta say it was well worth it!!

Deanna,
Maybe you have reached that point because of being so close to your low weight. I am within 4 lbs of being back at 140, which is a good weight for me (5' 7.5" tall). Yesterday, tried on a lot of clothes in my closet and am finally making it back into 8s - which was my size before a 25 lb menopausal weight gain. Just be careful during your transition to P3 and follow the protocol way of eating during the 3 day. I think others have added some extra protein to meals during this time. Me, I am going to stick with it until I reached at least 33 days. That means almost another two weeks. The weight comes off slowly for me...but I love the inch loss!! Good luck! Dawn |
I've decided the same thing yesterday, I was going for a 28-day 2nd round, but I'm hovering within 5lb of my ldw from the first round and it's been 3 weeks. So, I've discontinued the drops and as of Thursday I'm offically P3! Good luck maintaining, don't forget to add things back in slowly so it's easier. Going to be tougher this time for me but we can make it. http://hcgdietinfo.com/hcgdietforums...lies/smile.png

I think I am throwing in the towel too, but will wait until I complete at least 20 days on VLCD before I do. I started Oct 1 and am struggling with hunger, which is something that did not happen my first round. I, am stubborning trying to get to 135 and I don't think my body wants to be at that weight, so I'm moving on to P3 on Oct 23, and hope I stabelize well. I plan to do the Reset program I've been reading up on. contratulations of getting so a size 4-8. I'm in a 10-12 and am ok with that. Good Luck and keep us posted.

Hi,
I think I'm in the right place to get some insight! I am somewhat of a newbie here. I am doing my 2nd round. I started my first round June 26th and went for the full 45 days with injections. I lost 28 lbs. I am 5'8" and 52. My goal is 35-40. I started again on October 2nd, after waiting 6 weeks. My hubby are both doing the diet. We had 2 really good load days and I lost 10.6 lbs the first week. This week I have only lost 1.2 lbs all week. I am a little hungry this time and wasn't at all the first round. I was worried I'd loose too much doing 23 days. Now I'm thinking I'll be lucky to get to 140 ( which is only 4 more lbs ). Is it normal to have trouble when you're so close to your best weight? I'm afraid if I quit too soon I'll have trouble on P3. I'd like any advice! Thanks, Jeri |
