help I am in my first round of phase 2 and I am not hungry to eat my food. This is my 16th day and I havent had problems with hunger either way till now and I have having to force myself to eat anything. The past few days I havnt eat my fruit because I was hungry for that and now I dont want to eat anything.

Don't worry...that just means your HCG is working! I often don't eat my fruit, and have never eaten the Melba toast or breadsticks. Dr, Simeons says if you can't eat all the food, you can omit whatever you want. But you should definitely eat the protein and a little of the veggies. You night even increase the protein a bit. If you can't stomach a whole meal, try dividing up your protein into several small snacks. If you don't eat anything, you'll eventually slow down your metabolism and stall your weight loss. I don't usually eat all of my food either. Somedays nothing sounds appetizing. I added eggs to my protocol and also make awesome protein smoothies! It helps when something tastes really good. Don't worry if you aren't hungry, you'll be getting plenty of calories from the fat that's being released, but do try to eat the protein if you can!

Ashley, it is important to eat your food so if you are not eating at all, you can try upping your dose a little to make you a little more hungry. Not so much because a lot more will make you real hungry, but you still need to eat. I don't know if you are drops or injections but I would suggest upping a little.

Eggs do work! I feel that way about mornings too. On I also P2 and getting sick of the regular proteins. What I normally do is scramble one egg with two whites and either add spinach or fresh salsa or just chives. Today, though, I cooked them in coconut oil, which people have been saying it okay. I'm pretty sporadic on my food. Sometimes I eat everything, sometimes I don't. It might be best to try eggs and cut back on the rest of your protein for the day just to see. I haven't needed to get back proteins, but it's different for everyone. I'll report back on if the coconut oil made me gain or if it is okay to use! Caitlin |
