Default What brand of protein powder do you use?
What brand of protein powder do you use and where do you buy it from/ cost?

Also:

What do you add into it?

How often do you drink it?

Does it make you stall/or lose faster?

Thanks~

What brand of protein powder do you use and where do you buy it from/ cost? (I use Jay Robb Shakes Vanilla and tropical dreamsicle) 19.99 12oz It is natually sweetened with stevia

Also:
What do you add into it? (I usually add 2 tbsp milk, my fruit (apple or strawberry), cinammon, truvia, flavored stevia, ice and if I want a chocolate fix, I add unsweetened cocoa powder) I also add decaf starbucks instant via coffee to get the mocha feel .

How often do you drink it? (Daily in the evening as a meal replacement) I still eat a vegetable and sometimes melba. once i had an extra piece of protein along with the shake in the evening this week and lost 1.0

Does it make you stall/or lose faster? (I don't think it affects my losses) The first time I used it lost 2.2 pounds and it broke one of my stalls, I have been using it since week seven with success. I am expecting TOM so my losses have slowed down.

I found Jay Robb shakes at Market Street (like a Central Market) for about $2.49 per packet. They also sell them in buckets.
I use them whenever I'm not really hungry but know I need to eat something. You can also put a scoop or two of the powder into yogurt and it's delicious!

Protein shakes are one of those "taboo" things that some people may or may not agree with, but it's really all about what works for you. I tried it and had no problems.

I agree regarding the Jay Robb shakes. I drink one on the days I go running. Yes, I run in p2 but it's not protocol.

For P2 I used generic whey after I ran out of Gold Standard whey (which is DELICIOUS OMG), I just mixed it with water and drank it or blended with strawberries into a "sorbet". In P3 I mix it with yogurt and top it with fruit. Also, if cream cheese doesn't hate you, I used to melt cream cheese with butter and then mix in chocolate protein powder, press it into a tupperware, then top it with cocoa crack like a ganache. AWESOME protein brownies, I used to eat a big ass serving of that on vegetarian style steak days.

I just put this comparison together for another thread. I hope it helps in your Protein Powder decision. Keep in mind, I haven't tried any of these, but the names came up as ones that other hcg'ers used and liked. I chose to compare just the chocolate flavor to get the best "apples-to-apples" comparison.

Sorry for the funky resolution - it's the best I could do with the small file size that the forum allows.

In terms of Jay Robb, I would say that many more people use the whey protein shake vs. the egg white shake for a couple reasons. 1. It is only flavored with stevia and 2. it has no soy or eggs in it so many do better with that - especially in P2.. 3. The whey protein has less calories and less carbs...

Also, the other one I hear a lot of good things about is Mercola.

I use Prograde protein (chocolate). you can only buy it online. I haven't had any issues with it at all. I usually mix a bag of baby spinach, cinnamon, and either frozen strawberries or an apple, and ice. Delicious. Its got 24 grams of high quality protein. I feel like sometimes it breaks a stall for me.

I use GNC Whey Isolate 28g of protein, only 4g of carbs.
If I drink three in one day I'll have a 2 lb loss the next day. Same if I combine one shake with a hefty meat like a bigger chicken breast / ground sirloin patty.
