Default After multiple rounds when should I start a new round?
I have done 5 rounds I think. I used Rx grade HCG. I took a proper 6 weeks break after the first round. After second, third and fourth rounds, I just did 21 days of P3 and started a new round. I cycled during my 5th round, 10 days on and 7 days off. I lost 70 pounds overall. My last round finished on 2nd of November and I have gained almost 20 pounds back. I believe some of it has come back only because I did not give my body enough time in between the rounds. I want to start a fresh round and I would like your advice on how soon can I begin one.

go at least 42 days between rounds. Colleen will tell you that you should follow protocol to a T, I am not certain what Margie would say. I woudl say 120 days to allow current living cells to reach there programmed life span, that ways you will have a "new" set of cells that have never seen HCG.

I think Quelsen is really on to something with his 42 day idea. I know from reading the forum that some people do 23 days on with 21 days in P3, called cycling. I guess that's what you were doing, right?

And now the problem is your weight is creeping up (20#), and you want to knock it off, right?

Perhaps you should consider waiting at least eight weeks from your last HCG - and stick to P3 foods, use the protein/steak day to control your weight from the point where you are now (whatever it is, it is). Stop the creeping gain by going back to P2 foods (albeit in larger quantities) until you eliminate whatever is driving your weight up.

Then when you go back on HCG, do the round in accordance with the recommendations from Pounds and Inches (exactly) - and reset your hypothalmus. Plan for a very cautious P3 and reintroduction of food. Perhaps there are certain foods that trigger a gain?

My advice : wipe the slate clean - commit to the protocol - prove to yourself you can do one round and hold your weight within 2# of LIW/LDW.

Whatever you do, please remember you have been *very* successful with this program. You've lost a tremendous amount of weight. I have great faith in you - you can figure this out.

Oh, thank you so very much quelsen and spice. I have been thinking of giving at least 8 weeks of rest to my body and start all over again. Quelson's idea of 120 days is a new concept to me. I did not know all the cells in our bodies get replaced in the time span of 120 days. That would be four months quelson! A very interesting concept indeed!

Thanks once again.

Archie! Good to hear from you. I would take a minimum 10 weeks off. For as much weight as you've lost, that took me four rounds. The break between 3 & 4 would be 12 weeks and between 4 and 5 would be 20. So that's why I'm saying at least 10. Give your body time to catch up. If that seems too long, I wouldn't even think of doing less than 8.

Thanks for responding Colleen. I will go by your advice. I will try to make it 10 weeks but in case I get too impatient, I will most definitely make it 9 weeks.

archie : One suggestion : when I'm in P3/P4, I take measurements every two weeks. This makes me feel like I'm "still on the program". What I discovered is that my body shifts considerably even when I am eating more food. Not only is this delightful, but it made me feel like I was making progress toward my goals EVEN when holding my weight steady. It's really amazing how much my skin changed. As I've gone through this R2P2, I noticed my skin is really loose and the rest period helps it recover nicely.

Continued good luck...

I am ready for my 4th round. Last HCG drops on July 1st. maintained until one week ago. Slighty up by about 6 pounds over last weight of last HCG. Can I safely get back on for 4th round and be ready for phase 4 by Thanksgiving? Am ready because husband lost from 290 to 249 and has gained back 20 pounds. He has been eating carbs and larger meals...we had a lot of company. We are both 70 years old. My weight is 153 from 190. At one point I had lost 45 pounds. Need advice also on mixing powder. I am having a hard time finding just B12 to mix with powder. The B12 I find is only a part of a complete liquid B Complex. Would injectable B12 work in the oral drops?

The break between 3rd and 4th rounds is 12 weeks. So you should be okay. You should mix it with saline, not b12 anyway.
