I've heard many people say that part of their success with this diet is to be prepared mentally. Any suggestions for how to do this? My drops are ordered and I'm spending time reading here, but I have major food issues (eat for comfort, when bored, etc.) and I really, really want to be successful. What can I do to prepare myself?

Welcome Veg Girl!! Keep reminding yourself this is a LIFE change, not a DIET. This protocol allows you the opportunity to reset your hypothalamus, break horrible eating habits that made you fat to begin with, and start anew. The protocol is strict - but keep in mind it was designed in such a way as to provide optimal benefit. If you follow protocol, drink your water - losses will happen. Just keep your mind set on your goal and absolutely try NOT comparing your progress to others. That's hard, I know - but everyone is different and your body will do what it wants.
