I did one long round last year, ending at New Years and lost about 30 pounds. Stabilized easily with no gains. I did a short round in February/March and lost 15 pounds but gained them back by June. Did another short round in July/August and lost same 15 pounds. So far I've gained 5 of them back just in last 5 days. Not eating anything different from first successful round.
I used same brand for 2nd round but different for recent 3rd round and avoid the only food I seem to be sensitive to (potatoes are immediate 2 pound gain - soooo sad!). I expected some problems since this is a previous "set point" for me. I've never been able to get below this weight even though I need to lose at least 50 more just to approach reasonable weight for my height. I'm fasting today and going back to no carbs for a few days to see if that will help me. Has anyone else had this happen where short rounds just don't work as well as the long? No matter what I ate, I've never gone up above where I stabilized after original long round so that's set really well. |

Every p3/4 is different!!!!!! I cannot stress that enough.
I only do long rounds. Just completed 3 rounds and foods I was ok w/ in r2p3 are giving me issues this round. You have to treat each p3 like it's brand new and not assume that foods that were ok in 1 round are gonna work from the get go on another. It's a bummer, I know ![]() You can do it! |

Colleen/Grammy has often said that people stabilize better at 30 days. You need to find out why you are not stabilizing and this time, be very cautious about adding new foods until you are certain that a new food does not cause you to gain.
It may be that you have a gluten issue or even a nightshade sensitivity. You can figure it out so you can complete your goal! Good luck! |
